Exact solution of the time-dependent harmonic plus an inverse harmonic potential with a time-dependent electromagnetic field

2003-12-01
Yuce, C
In this paper, the problem of the charged harmonic plus an inverse harmonic oscillator with time-dependent mass and frequency in a time-dependent electromagnetic field is investigated. It is reduced to the problem of the inverse harmonic oscillator with time-independent parameters and the exact wave function is obtained.

EXACT SPIN AND PSEUDO-SPIN SYMMETRIC SOLUTIONS OF THE DIRAC-KRATZER PROBLEM WITH A TENSOR POTENTIAL VIA LAPLACE TRANSFORM APPROACH
Arda, Altug; Sever, Ramazan (2012-09-28)
Exact bound state solutions of the Dirac equation for the Kratzer potential in the presence of a tensor potential are studied by using the Laplace transform approach for the cases of spin- and pseudo-spin symmetry. The energy spectrum is obtained in the closed form for the relativistic as well as non-relativistic cases including the Coulomb potential. It is seen that our analytical results are in agreement with the ones given in the literature. The numerical results are also given in a table for different p...
Exact solutions for vibrational levels of the Morse potential
Taşeli, Hasan (IOP Publishing, 1998-01-16)
The vibrational levels of diatomic molecules via Morse potentials are studied by means of the system confined in a spherical box of radius l, II is shown that there exists a critical radius l(cr),, at which the spectrum of the usual unbounded system can be calculated to any desired accuracy. The results are compared with those of Morse's classical solution which is based on the assumption that the domain of the internuclear distance r includes the unphysical region (-infinity, 0). By determining numerically...
Synchronization of linearly and nonlinearly coupled harmonic oscillators
Penbegül, Ali Yetkin; Tuna, Sezai Emre; Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (2011)
In this thesis, the synchronization in the arrays of identical and non-identical coupled harmonic oscillators is studied. Both linear and nonlinear coupling is considered. The study consists of two main parts. The first part concentrates on theoretical analysis and the second part contains the simulation results. The first part begins with introducing the harmonic oscillators and the basics of synchronization. Then some theoretical aspects of synchronization of linearly and nonlinearly coupled harmonic osci...
Exact solutions of the radial Schrodinger equation for some physical potentials
IKHDAİR, SAMEER; Sever, Ramazan (2007-12-01)
By using an ansatz for the eigenfunction, we have obtained the exact analytical solutions of the radial Schrodinger equation for the pseudoharmonic and the Kratzer potentials in two dimensions. The bound-state solutions are easily calculated from this eigenfunction ansatz. The corresponding normalized wavefunctions are also obtained. (C) Versita Warsaw and Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg. JOINT ENTROPY OF THE HARMONIC OSCILLATOR WITH TIME-DEPENDENT MASS AND/OR FREQUENCY
Akturk, Ethem; ÖZCAN, ÖZGÜR; Sever, Ramazan (World Scientific Pub Co Pte Lt, 2009-04-30)
Time-dependent joint entropy is obtained for harmonic oscillator with the time-dependent mass and frequency case. It is calculated by using time-dependent wave function obtained via Feynman path integral method. Variation of time dependence is investigated for various cases.
