Axial vector transition form factors of N -> Delta in QCD
Küçükarslan, Ayşe; Özdem, Ulaş; Özpineci, Altuğ (Elsevier BV, 2016-12)
The isovector axial vector form factors of N -> Delta transition are calculated by employing Light-cone QCD sum rules. The analytical results are analyzedby both the conventional method, and also by a Monte Carlo based approach which allows one to scan all of the parameter space. The predictions are also compared with the results in the literature, where available. Although the MonteCarlo analysis predicts large uncertainties in the predicted results, the predictions obtained by the conventional analysis ar...
Cylindrical Substrate Integrated Waveguide (CSIW) Slot Arrays with Uniform and Nonuniform Spacings
Bayraktar, Omer; Aydın Çivi, Hatice Özlem (2014-08-23)
Pattern synthesis of a traveling wave longitudinal slot array on the broad wall of cylindrical substrate integrated waveguide (CSIW) is presented at 25 GHz. In order to have low side lobe level (SLL) and high directivity, the Elliot's design procedure for 1 x 25 slotted waveguide array is applied to satisfy the required slot voltage distribution found by aperture projection method for evenly distributed slot array with complex slot voltage distribution. The results are compared with the design which makes u...
Nonlinear compressible finite viscoleasticity of epoxy-based polymers
Dal, Hüsnü; Gromala, P. J.; Han, B. (2019-01-01)
Epoxy-based polymers are widely used in the semiconductor industry as thermal and/or electrical interfaces and as encapsulating material. In the automotive industry, epoxy-based molding compounds (EMCs) are often used to protect not only the single IC packages but also the entire electronic control units (ECUs) (or the power modules). The stress caused by the mismatch of the coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) between EMC and adjacent materials is one of the major causes for premature failure. In the tem...
