We study tau --> mu(nu) over bar (i)nu(i), i = e, mu, tau decays in the two-Higgs doublet model, with the inclusion of one and two spatial non-universal extra dimensions. We observe that the branching ratio is sensitive to two extra dimensions in contrary to a single extra dimension.

The radiative lepton flavor violating decays in the split fermion scenario in the two-higgs doublet model
Iltan, E. O. (World Scientific Pub Co Pte Lt, 2007-04-10)
We study the branching ratios of the lepton flavor violating processes mu --> e gamma, tau --> e gamma and tau --> mu gamma in the split fermion scenario, in the framework of the two-Higgs doublet model. We observe that the branching ratios are relatively more sensitive to the compactification scale and the Gaussian widths of the leptons in the extra dimensions, for two extra dimensions and especially for the tau --> mu gamma decay.
tau -> mu(nu)over-bar(i)nu(i) decay in the general two Higgs doublet model
Iltan, EO; Sundu, H (IOP Publishing, 2003-07-01)
We study tau --> munu(i)nu(i), i = e, mu, tau decay in the model III version of the two Higgs doublet model. We calculated the BR at the order of magnitude 10(-6)-10(-4) for intermediate values of the Yukawa couplings. Furthermore, we predict the upper limit of the coupling for the tau-h(0)(A(0))-tau transition as similar to0.3 in the case that the BR is similar to10(-6). We observe that the experimental result of the process under consideration can give comprehensive information about the physics beyond th...
The Lukash plane-wave attractor and relative energy
Korunur, Murat; Salti, Mustafa; Aydogdu, Oktay (World Scientific Pub Co Pte Lt, 2007-07-10)
We study energy distribution in the context of teleparallel theory of gravity, due to matter and fields including gravitation, of the universe based on the plane-wave Bianchi VII(delta) spacetimes described by the Lukash metric. For this calculation, we consider the teleparallel gravity analogs of the energy momentum formulations of Einstein, Bergmann-Thomson and Landau-Lifshitz. We find that Einstein and Bergmann-Thomson prescriptions agree with each other and give the same results for the energy distribut...
The Lorentz and CPT violating effects on H-o -> f(+)f(-) (ZZ, W+W-) decays
Iltan, EO (World Scientific Pub Co Pte Lt, 2004-02-10)
We study the Lorentz and CPT violating effects on the ratio BRLorVio/Br-SM where BRLorVio (BRSM) is the branching ratios coming from the Lorentz violating effects (the SM), for the decays H-0 --> f(+)f(-) (f = quarks and charged leptons) and H-0 --> ZZ(W+W-). We observe that these new effects are too small to be detected, especially for f(+)f(-) output, since the corresponding coefficients are highly suppressed at the low energy scale.
Investigation of the Ds1 structure via Bc to Ds1l(+)l(-)/nu(nu)over-bar transitions in QCD
Khosravi, R.; Azizi, K.; Ghanaatian, M.; Falahati, F. (IOP Publishing, 2009-09-01)
We investigate the structure of the D-s1(2460, 2536)(J(P) = 1(+)) mesons via analyzing the semileptonic B-c -> D(s1)l(+)l(-), l = tau, mu, e and B-c -> D-s1 nu(nu) over bar transitions in the framework of the three-point QCD sum rules. We consider the D-s1 meson in two ways, the pure vertical bar c (s) over bar > state and then as a mixture of two vertical bar P-3(1)> and vertical bar P-1(1)> states. Such types of rare transitions take place at loop level by electroweak penguin and weak box diagrams in the ...
