We study the charged lepton electric dipole moments in the Randall-Sundrum model where the leptons and the gauge fields are accessible to the extra dimension. We observe that the electric dipole moment of the electron (muon; tau) reaches a value of the order of 10(-26) ecm (10(-20) ecm; 10(-20) ecm) with the inclusion of the lepton KK modes.

The effect of the location of the new Higgs doublet on the radiative lepton flavor violating decays in the split fermion scenario
Iltan, E. O. (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2006-05-01)
We study the branching ratios of the lepton flavor violating processes mu -> e gamma, tau -> e gamma and tau -> mu gamma in the split fermion scenario, with the assumption that the new Higgs doublet is restricted to the 4D brane (thin bulk) in one and two extra dimensions, in the framework of the two Higgs doublet model. We observe that the branching ratios are sensitive to the location of the 4D brane and, in the second case, the width of the thin bulk, especially for the mu -> e gamma decay.
THE ENERGY LOCALIZATION PROBLEM AND THE RENORMALIZED VACUUM ENERGY IN STATIC ROBERTSON-WALKER UNIVERSES
BAYM, SS (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 1994-10-01)
We calculate the renormalized quantum vacuum energy inside a spherical boundary for the massless conformal scalar field in curved background Robertson-Walker geometry. We use the mode sum method with an exponential cuttoff. In our calculations we do not make assumptions about the exterior geometry or the global topology of the universe.
Charged lepton electric dipole moments with localized leptons and new Higgs doublet in the two Higgs doublet model
Iltan, E. O. (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2007-08-01)
We study the electric dipole moments of the leptons in the split fermion scenario, in the two Higgs doublet model, where the new Higgs scalars are localized around the origin in the extra dimension, with the help of the localizer field. We observe that the numerical value of the electric dipole moment of the electron (muon, tau) is of the order of the magnitude of 10(-31) ( 10(-24), 10(-22)) (e cm), and this quantity is sensitive to the new Higgs localization in the extra dimension.
Measurement of the charge asymmetry in top quark pair production in pp collisions at root s=8 TeV using a template method
Khachatryan, V.; et. al. (American Physical Society (APS), 2016-02-01)
The charge asymmetry in the production of top quark and antiquark pairs is measured in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 8 TeV. The data, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 19.6 fb(-1), were collected by the CMS experiment at the LHC. Events with a single isolated electron or muon, and four or more jets, at least one of which is likely to have originated from hadronization of a bottom quark, are selected. A template technique is used to measure the asymmetry in the distributio...
Measurement of jet multiplicity distributions in t(t)over-bar production in pp collisions at root s=7TeV
Chatrchyan, S.; et. al. (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2014-08-01)
The normalised differential top quark-antiquark production cross section is measured as a function of the jet multiplicity in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 7 TeV at the LHC with the CMS detector. The measurement is performed in both the dilepton and lepton+jets decay channels using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.0 fb(-1). Using a procedure to associate jets to decay products of the top quarks, the differential cross section of the t (t) over bar production is de...
