We study the branching ratios of the lepton flavor violating processes mu -> e gamma, T -> e gamma and T -> mu gamma by considering that the new Higgs scalars localize with Gaussian pro. le in the extra dimension. We see that the BRs of the LFV decays mu -> e gamma, T -> e gamma and T -> mu gamma are at the order of magnitude of 10(-12), 10(-16) and 10(-12) in the considered range of the free parameters. These numerical values are slightly suppressed in the case that the localization points of new Higgs scalars are different from the origin.

The effect of the location of the new Higgs doublet on the radiative lepton flavor violating decays in the split fermion scenario
Iltan, E. O. (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2006-05-01)
We study the branching ratios of the lepton flavor violating processes mu -> e gamma, tau -> e gamma and tau -> mu gamma in the split fermion scenario, with the assumption that the new Higgs doublet is restricted to the 4D brane (thin bulk) in one and two extra dimensions, in the framework of the two Higgs doublet model. We observe that the branching ratios are sensitive to the location of the 4D brane and, in the second case, the width of the thin bulk, especially for the mu -> e gamma decay.
The Lorentz and CPT violating effects on the Z -> l(+) l(-) decay
Iltan, EO (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2005-03-01)
We study the Lorentz and CPT violating effects on the branching ratio, the CPT violating asymmetry and the ratio of the decay width, including only the Lorentz violating effects, to the one obtained in the standard model, for the flavor dependent part of the lepton flavor conserving Z -> l(+) l(-) (l = e, mu, tau) decay. The inclusion of the Lorentz and CPT violating e. ects in the standard model contribution are too small to be detected, since the corresponding coefficients are highly suppressed at the low...
The decay tau ->mu(nu)over-bar(i)nu(i) in the Randall-Sundrum background with localized U(1)(Y) gauge boson
Iltan, E. O.; SUNDU PAMUK, HAYRİYE (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2008-02-01)
We study the effects of localization of the U(1)(Y) gauge boson around the visible brane and the contributions of the Kaluza-Klein modes of Z bosons on the branching ratio of the lepton flavor violating tau ->mu(nu) over bar (i)nu(i) decay. We observe that the branching ratio is sensitive to the amount of localization of the Z boson in the bulk of the Randall - Sundrum background.
New physics effects in the rare B-s -> gamma l(+)l(-) decays with a polarized photon
Yilmaz, UO; Sirvanli, BB; Turan, Gürsevil (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2003-09-01)
Using the most general model independent form of the effective Hamiltonian, the rare B-s --> gammal(+)l(-) decays are studied by taking into account the polarization of the photon. The total and the differential branching ratios for these decays, when the photon is in the positive or the negative helicity state, are presented. The dependence of these observables on the new Wilson coefficients is studied. Also is investigated the sensitivity of the 'photon polarization asymmetry' in B-s-->gammal(+)l(-) decay...
Analysis of various polarization asymmetries in the inclusive b -> s a"" (+) a"" (-) decay in the fourth-generation standard model
BASHIRY, VALİ; Bayar, M. (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2009-06-01)
In this study a systematical analysis of various polarization asymmetries in inclusive b -> s a"" (+) a"" (-) decay in the standard model (SM) with four generation of quarks is carried out. We found that the various asymmetries are sensitive to the new mixing and quark masses for both of the mu and tau channels. Sizable deviations from the SM values are obtained. Hence, b -> s a"" (+) a"" (-) decay is a valuable tool for searching physics beyond the SM, especially in the indirect searches for the fourth-gen...
