We study the Lorentz and CPT violating effects on the branching ratio, the CPT violating asymmetry and the ratio of the decay width, including only the Lorentz violating effects, to the one obtained in the standard model, for the flavor dependent part of the lepton flavor conserving Z -> l(+) l(-) (l = e, mu, tau) decay. The inclusion of the Lorentz and CPT violating e. ects in the standard model contribution are too small to be detected, since the corresponding coefficients are highly suppressed at the low energy scale.

The effect of the location of the new Higgs doublet on the radiative lepton flavor violating decays in the split fermion scenario
Iltan, E. O. (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2006-05-01)
We study the branching ratios of the lepton flavor violating processes mu -> e gamma, tau -> e gamma and tau -> mu gamma in the split fermion scenario, with the assumption that the new Higgs doublet is restricted to the 4D brane (thin bulk) in one and two extra dimensions, in the framework of the two Higgs doublet model. We observe that the branching ratios are sensitive to the location of the 4D brane and, in the second case, the width of the thin bulk, especially for the mu -> e gamma decay.
The effect of the Gaussian profile of the new Higgs doublet on the radiative lepton flavor violating decay
Iltan, E. O. (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2006-11-01)
We study the branching ratios of the lepton flavor violating processes mu -> e gamma, T -> e gamma and T -> mu gamma by considering that the new Higgs scalars localize with Gaussian pro. le in the extra dimension. We see that the BRs of the LFV decays mu -> e gamma, T -> e gamma and T -> mu gamma are at the order of magnitude of 10(-12), 10(-16) and 10(-12) in the considered range of the free parameters. These numerical values are slightly suppressed in the case that the localization points of new Higgs sca...
The decay tau ->mu(nu)over-bar(i)nu(i) in the Randall-Sundrum background with localized U(1)(Y) gauge boson
Iltan, E. O.; SUNDU PAMUK, HAYRİYE (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2008-02-01)
We study the effects of localization of the U(1)(Y) gauge boson around the visible brane and the contributions of the Kaluza-Klein modes of Z bosons on the branching ratio of the lepton flavor violating tau ->mu(nu) over bar (i)nu(i) decay. We observe that the branching ratio is sensitive to the amount of localization of the Z boson in the bulk of the Randall - Sundrum background.
The analysis of B-d ->(eta, eta ')l(+)l(-) decays in the standard model
Erkol, G; Turan, Gürsevil (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2003-05-01)
We study the differential branching ratio, the branching ratio and the CP-violating asymmetry for the exclusive B-d --> (eta,eta')l(+)l(-) decays in the standard model. We deduce the B-d --> (eta, eta') form factors from the form factors of B --> pi available in the literature, by using the SU(3)(F) symmetry. We observe that these decay modes, which are within the reach of forthcoming B-factories, are very promising for observing CP-violation.
The radiative K* meson decays in QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Iltan, E (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 1996-06-01)
The g(K0*K0 gamma) and g(K+*K+gamma) coupling constants and the radiative decay widths are calculated in the context of QCD sum rules. It is found that the discrepancy between the experimental data and theoretical results still exists.
