This study investigates the influence of the fourth generation quarks on the total branching ratio and the single lepton polarizations in Lambda(b) -> Lambda l(+)l(-) decay. Taking vertical bar Vt ' sVt ' b vertical bar similar to {0.01-0.03} with phase just below 90 degrees, which is consistent with the b -> sl(+)l(-) rate and the B-s mixing parameter Delta(mBs), we obtain that the total branching ratio and the single lepton (mu,tau) polarizations are quite sensitive to the existence of fourth generation. It can serve as a good tool to search for new physics effects, precisely, to search for the fourth generation quarks (t ',b ').

The effects of non-universal extra dimensions on the radiative lepton flavor decays mu -> e gamma and tau ->mu gamma in the two Higgs doublet model
Iltan, EO (2004-08-01)
We study the effect of non-universal extra dimensions on the branching ratios of the lepton flavor violating processes mu --> egamma and tau --> mugamma in the general two Higgs doublet model. We observe that these effects are small for a single extra dimension, however, in the case of two extra dimensions there is a considerable enhancement in the additional contributions.
The mu -> e gamma and tau ->mu gamma decays in the general two Higgs doublet model with the inclusion of one universal extra dimension
Iltan, EO (2004-02-01)
We study the effect of one universal extra dimension on the branching ratios of the lepton flavor violating processes mu --> egamma and tau --> mugamma in the general two Higgs doublet model. We observe that these new effects are tiny for the small values of the compactification radius R. Furthermore, we see that these effects are comparable with the branching ratio obtained without including extra dimension, if the neutral Higgs bosons are nearly degenerate and the complexity of the Yukawa coupling, induci...
The exclusive B ->pi l(+)l(-) and B ->rho l(+)l(-) decays in the general two Higgs doublet model
Erkol, G; Turan, Gürsevil (2002-02-01)
We study the differential branching ratio, branching ratio and the forward-backward asymmetry for the exclusive B --> pil(+)l(-) and B --> rhol(+)l(-) decays in the general two Higgs doublet model including the neutral Higgs boson erects. We analyze the dependencies of these quantities on the neutral Higgs boson contributions and the other model parameters. We observe that two Higgs doublet model with the neutral Higgs boson exchanges gives quite sizable contributions to these observables for both channels ...
The effects of the fourth generation on the double-lepton polarization in the B -> Kl(+) l(-) decay
BASHIRY, VALİ; Zebarjad, S. M.; Falahati, F.; Azizi, K. (IOP Publishing, 2008-06-01)
This study investigates the influence of fourth-generation quarks on double-lepton polarizations in the B -> Kl(+) l(-) decay. Taking vertical bar Vt'sVt'b vertical bar similar to {0.01 - 0.03} with a phase of about 100 degrees, which is consistent with the b -> sl(+) l(-) rate and the B-s mixing parameter Delta m B-s, we have found out that double-lepton (mu, tau) polarizations are quite sensitive to the existence of the fourth generation. It can serve as an efficient tool to search for new physics effects...
Combined search for the quarks of a sequential fourth generation
Chatrchyan, S.; et. al. (2012-12-01)
Results are presented from a search for a fourth generation of quarks produced singly or in pairs in a data set corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5 fb(-1) recorded by the CMS experiment at the LHC in 2011. A novel strategy has been developed for a combined search for quarks of the up and down type in decay channels with at least one isolated muon or electron. Limits on the mass of the fourth-generation quarks and the relevant Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix elements are derived in the context of...
