Web usage mining and recommendation with semantic information
Salın, Süleyman; Karagöz, Pınar; Department of Computer Engineering (2009)
Web usage mining has become popular in various business areas related with Web site development. In Web usage mining, the commonly visited navigational paths are extracted in terms of Web page addresses from the Web server visit logs, and the patterns are used in various applications. The semantic information of the Web page contents is generally not included in Web usage mining. In this thesis, a framework for integrating semantic information with Web usage mining is implemented. The frequent navigational ...
Web market analysis : static, dynamic, and content evaluation
Erdal, Feride; Arifoğlu, Ali; Department of Information Systems (2012)
Importance of web services increases as the technology improves and the need for the challenging e-commerce strategies increases. Web Service Discovery: A Service Oriented, Peer-to-Peer Approach with Categorization
Ozorhan, Mustafa Onur; Çiçekli, Fehime Nihan (2011-09-28)
This paper discusses automated methods to achieve web service advertisement and discovery, and presents efficient search and matching techniques based on OWL-S. The service discovery and matchmaking is performed via a centralized peer-to-peer web service repository. The repository has the ability to run on a software cloud, which improves the availability and scalability of the service discovery. An OWL-S based unified ontology Suggested Upper Merged Ontology is used in web service annotation. User-agents g...
Web-Based Risk Assessment Tool Using Integrated Duration-Cost Influence Network Model
Dikmen Toker, İrem; Birgönül, Mustafa Talat (American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), 2012-09-01)
The major challenges of project risk assessment may be attributed to the knowledge requirements for determining the level of uncertainty and the development of complex models to predict project outcomes. The duration-cost influence network is an adequate model that can be used for activity-based risk modeling. In this study, a scenario analysis feature is added to this model and a Web-based tool is developed that can be used to calculate risk-adjusted duration and cost, considering the risks affecting cost ...
