The level density parameter and the back shift energy El. are determined for nuclei with A-values across the whole periodic table from fits to complete level schemes at low excitation energy near the neutron binding energies. We find that the energy back shift E, shows complicated behavior and depends, on the type of the nucleus, even-even, odd mass, and odd-odd. The spin cut-off factor has also been investigated for nuclei mentioned above. The results are compared with the previous results and different experimental data on level densities.

Hybrid mesons in the context of the relativistic equation
Zakout, I; Sever, Ramazan (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 1997-08-01)
The flux tube model of hybrid mesons is studied in the context of the relativistic equation in the adiabatic approximation. The moment of inertia of the rigid-rod flux tube is considered in the kinetic part of the interaction. The nonrelativistic and relativistic one scalar bead flux tube is integrated numerically and compared with the adiabatic flux tube small oscillation approximation. The relativistic scalar bead picture suggests that the lowest gluonic excitation of a massive gluon is color octet q (q) ...
Measurement of the inclusive jet cross section in pp collisions at root s=2.76 TeV
Khachatryan, V.; et. al. (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2016-05-01)
The double-differential inclusive jet cross section is measured as a function of jet transverse momentum p(T) and absolute rapidity vertical bar y vertical bar, using proton-proton collision data collected with the CMS experiment at the LHC, at a center-of-mass energy of root s = 2.76 TeV and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.43 pb(-1). Jets are reconstructed within the pT range of 74 to 592 GeV and the rapidity range vertical bar y vertical bar < 3.0. The reconstructed jet spectrum is correcte...
Gravitational interactions in 2+1 dimensions
Dereli, Tekin; Tucker, Robin W. (IOP Publishing, 1988-7-1)
Modifications to Einstein's vacuum equations for gravitation in 2+1 dimensions are studied. The addition of the Schouten-Eisenhart 2-forms to the field equations admits gravitational wave solutions although no non-trivial static rotationally symmetric metrics exist. Higher-order derivative models for the metric are discussed together with a 2+1 Brans-Dicke theory. The latter is solved for a static metric exhibiting singularities.
Measurement of jet multiplicity distributions in t(t)over-bar production in pp collisions at root s=7TeV
Chatrchyan, S.; et. al. (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2014-08-01)
The normalised differential top quark-antiquark production cross section is measured as a function of the jet multiplicity in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 7 TeV at the LHC with the CMS detector. The measurement is performed in both the dilepton and lepton+jets decay channels using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.0 fb(-1). Using a procedure to associate jets to decay products of the top quarks, the differential cross section of the t (t) over bar production is de...
Measurement of the energy density as a function of pseudorapidity in proton-proton collisions at root s=13 TeV
Sirunyan, A. M.; et. al. (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2019-05-01)
A measurement of the energy density in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of sTeV is presented. The data have been recorded with the CMS experiment at the LHC during low luminosity operations in 2015. The energy density is studied as a function of pseudorapidity in the ranges -6.6<<-5.2 and 3.15<||<5.20. The results are compared with the predictions of several models. All the models considered suggest a different shape of the pseudorapidity dependence compared to that observed in the data. ...
