A new method for the power sharing in parallel inverters is proposed in this paper. The power calculation unit of the conventional droop is improved to obtain fast transient response. The reduction of the circulating current between inverters during system dynamics is one of the advantages of this method. Also, the proposed control method has a good dynamic performance and power sharing. The simulation results are presented to prove the validity and the improvements achieved by the proposed controller.

A Novel Multilevel Converter Used For Three Phase STATCOM under Unbalanced Load
Balikci, A.; AKPINAR, ERCAN (2011-09-10)
In this paper, multi-level cascaded Static Synchronous Compensator (STATCOM) is proposed using a novel converter having reduced number of switches. STATCOM is analyzed by using DSP and Matlab, interactively. The level shifted carrier based SPWM method, instantaneous single phase active (P) and reactive (Q) power algorithms are applied to control this converters. The performance of STATCOM is investigated for unbalanced reactive load conditions. The simulation results of Matlab alone and Matlab interactively...
A novel neutral point potential stabilization technique using the information of output current polarities and voltage vector
Yamanaka, K; Hava, Ahmet Masum; Kirino, H; Tanaka, Y; Koga, N; Kume, T (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), 2002-11-01)
This paper proposes a new neutral point potential control technique for the neutral-point-clamped three-level inverter. Utilizing the phase current polarity information, this technique distributes the redundant voltage vectors in a manner to obtain stable neutral point voltage under all operating conditions including the zero-power-factor condition. Detailed analysis and computer simulations show the superiority of the proposed method. The feasibility of the proposed method has been proven via laboratory ex...
A Simple Sliding Mode Controller for PUC7 Grid-Connected Inverter Using A look-up Table
Makhamreh, Hamza; Trabelsi, Mohamed; Kuekrer, Osman; Abu-Rub, Haitham (2019-01-01)
In this paper, a novel and simple controller for seven-level packed U-cell (PUC) grid-connected inverter is presented. The control method is derived based on sliding mode control theory. Making use of the measured grid voltage and computed reference grid current, the reference value of the inverter output voltage is determined. According to the calculated voltage value, the suitable control set is selected (offline) in order to satisfy the reaching conditions of two separate sliding lines. The sliding lines...
A Nonlinear Detector for Uplink SC-FDE mm-Wave Hybrid Massive MIMO under Hardware Impairments
Salman, Murat Babek; Güvensen, Gökhan Muzaffer (2021-06-01)
In this paper, we propose a detector structure for fully connected hybrid massive MIMO systems with transceiver impairments at user equipments. In literature, memoryless compensation of nonlinear effects at the receiver side is recently proposed for systems employing frequency domain equalization. However, in these studies, the system model is restricted to be symbol sampled, where pulse shaping and fractional delays in channel impulse response (CIR) are not taken into consideration. However, memory effects...
A low power readout circuit approach for uncooled resistive microbolometer FPAs
Tepegoz, Murat; Toprak, Alperen; Akın, Tayfun (2008-03-20)
This paper presents a new, low power readout circuit approach for uncooled resistive microbolometer FPAs. The readout circuits of the microbolometer detectors contain parallel readout channels whose outputs are driven and multiplexed on large bus capacitances in order to form the output of the readout circuit. High number of opamps used in the readout channel array and large output capacitances that these opamps should drive necessitates the use of high output current capacity structures, which results in l...
