The developments in technology, especially those in the field of medicine have a direct and fast effect on human life expectation and survival. Thus, this issue has to be seen and studied in the context of ethics. In this paper, ethical principles in the application of new medical technologies in neurosurgery from an Islamic viewpoint will be given.
