Quasi-static solutions of elliptical, cylindrical-coupled parallel coplanar waveguide, and coupled parallel coplanar waveguide with finite ground planes
Duyar, Mehmet; Akan, Volkan; Yazgan, Erdem; Bayrak, Mehmet (Wiley, 2007-07-01)
This article presents the quasi-static analyses of elliptical-coupled parallel coplanar waveguide (ECP CPW), cylindrical-coupled parallel coplanar waveguide (CCP CPW), and coupled parallel coplanar waveguide (CP CPW) with finite ground planes. Conformal-mappi ng techniques have been used through the analyses. The obtained results show good agreement with IE3D electromagnetic-circuit solver software's simulations for the planar case. In addition, the results have been compared with others available in the li...
QUASILINEAR RETARDED DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS WITH FUNCTIONAL DEPENDENCE ON PIECEWISE CONSTANT ARGUMENT
Akhmet, Marat (2014-03-01)
We introduce a new class of differential equations, retarded differential equations with functional dependence on piecewise constant argument, RFDEPCA, and focus on quasilinear systems. Formulation of the initial value problem, bounded solutions, periodic and almost periodic solutions, their stability are under investigation. Illustrating examples are provided.

Non-Gaussian elliptic-flow fluctuations in PbPb collisions at root S-NN=5.02 TeV
Sirunyan, A. M.; et. al. (Elsevier BV, 2019-02-01)
Event-by-event fluctuations in the elliptic-flow coefficient v(2) are studied in PbPb collisions at root S-NN = 5.02 TeV using the CMS detector at the CERN LHC. Elliptic-flow probability distributions p(v(2)) for charged particles with transverse momentum 0.3 < p(T) < 3.0 GeV/c and pseudorapidity vertical bar eta vertical bar < 1.0 are determined for different collision centrality classes. The moments of the p(v(2)) distributions are used to calculate the v(2) coefficients based on cumulant orders 2, 4, 6, ...
