Evlilik öncesi yaşanan cinsel ilişkiye ve kadınların evlilik öncesi cinsel ilişkide bulunmasına karşı tutumlar

Bu araştırmanın amacı evlilik öncesi yaşanan cinsel ilişkiye ve kadınların evlilik öncesi cinsel ilişkide bulunmasına karşı tutumları ölçmek; ayrıca, belirtilen bu tutumları cinsel deneyimin, cinsiyet farklılıklarının, dindarlığın, gelenekselliğin ve tutuculuğun nasıl etkileyeceğini araştırmaktır. Bu amaçla J50 Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi öğrencisinden evlilik öncesi cinselliğe ve kadınların evlilik öncesi cinsel ilişkide bulunmasına karşı düşüncelerini ve duygularını verilen ölçek üzerinde belirtmeleri istenmiştir. Araştırmanın bulgularına göre, denekler bu konularda kararsız kalmanın yanında, çok az da olsa olumlu tutumlara doğru kayma eğilimi göstermişlerdir. Cinsiyetler arasında evlilik Öncesi yaşanan cinsellik konusundaki tutumlarda ve kadınların evlilik öncesi cinsel ilişkide bulunmaları konusunda istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklar bulunmuştur. Genel olarak erkek denekler kadın deneklere oranla daha olumsuz tutumlar sergilemişlerdir. Ayrıca; dindar, geleneksel ve tutucu olmanın hem evlilik öncesi cinsel ilişki konusundaki hem de kadınların evlilik öncesi cinsel ilişkide bulunması konusundaki tutumları olumsuz yönde etkilediği araştırmanın sonuçları arasındadır.
