A Study on countermeasures on AES against side channel attacks
Çenesiz, Damla; Özbudak, Ferruh; Department of Cryptography (2019)
Side Channel Attacks have a important role for security of cryptographic algorithm. There are different method which include Threshold Implementation to protect against these kind of attacks. In this thesis, we study certain countermeasures to side channel attacks for AES. We start with a survey on Side Channel Attacks for block ciphers and we mentioned attack models for AES.We give also partical attention Treshold Implementation properties and construction methods. We also give some details of subfield con...
A Study on possible variant forms of anchovy in the black sea
Şahin, Ezgi; Gücü, Ali Cemal; Department of Marine Biology and Fisheries (2014)
The anchovy in the Black Sea is a commercially important fish source for Turkey, which is represented by two different subspecies in the basin. Spawning and feeding occurs in northern coasts where food supplies are more abundant. When the water temperature starts to decrease, the anchovy migrate toward the warmer waters of the southern coasts. The schools formed during this migration make them a primary target for fishing fleets. Due to morphological similarities, it is not possible to report the catches by...
A study on cobalt adaptation and memory retention of freshwater bacteria isolates
Çıtır, Gözde; Gözen, Ayşe Gül; Department of Biology (2010)
The mucus-dwelling bacteria previously isolated from the surface of a freshwater fish species (Alburnus alburnus from Lake Mogan, Ankara), were studied to discover their cobalt resistance. The minimum inhibitory concentrations (MIC) were determined for a total of thirty six bacterial isolates. The results of the resistance studies led us to design experiments on adaptation to cobalt and subsequent memory retention. Three selected isolates were exposed to an inhibitory cobalt concentration as a mixed culture...
