We demonstrate an on-chip single photon SWAP gate between polarization and spatial-momentum qubit. Our SWAP gate shows gate fidelity of 97.44%, and polarization entanglement preservation of SWAP operation is confirmed with average visibility over 98%. (C) 2020 The Author(s)

Linear optical deterministic and reconfigurable SWAP gate
Bozkurt, Alkim B.; Kocaman, Serdar (2021-09-01)
We propose a deterministic SWAP gate for dual-rail-encoded single photon qubits. The gate is constructed from waveguide crossings, Mach-Zehnder interferometers and phase shifters which provide the gate reconfigurability. Through manipulating the phase of the phase shifters, we can apply either the SWAP or identity gates. As an essential element of nearest neighbor qubit networks, the SWAP gate has a simple structure and presents minimal overhead. Providing an efficient solution to the geometric restrictions...
Strong coupling constant of negative parity octet baryons with light pseudoscalar mesons in light cone QCD sum rules
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (Elsevier BV, 2017-01-01)
The strong coupling constants of the pi and K mesons with negative parity octet baryons are estimated within the light cone QCD sum rules. It is observed that all strong coupling constants, similarly to the case for the positive parity baryons, can be described in terms of three invariant functions, where two of them correspond to the well known F and D couplings in the SU (3)(f) symmetry, and the third function describes the SU(3)(f) symmetry violating effects. We compare our predictions on the strong coup...

© 2021 OSA.We experimentally demonstrate a chip-scale polarization to spatial-momentum qubit SWAP gate. High fidelity of the SWAP gate operation is confirmed by quantum state tomography, with average gate fidelity up to 97.30%.
Extended dynamical symmetries of Landau levels in higher dimensions
Kürkcüoğlu, Seçkin; YURDUŞEN, İSMET (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2020-02-14)
Continuum models for time-reversal (TR) invariant topological insulators (Tis) in d >= 3 dimensions are provided by harmonic oscillators coupled to certain SO(d) gauge fields. These models are equivalent to the presence of spin-orbit (SO) interaction in the oscillator Hamiltonians at a critical coupling strength (equivalent to the harmonic oscillator frequency) and leads to flat Landau Level (LL) spectra and therefore to infinite degeneracy of either the positive or the negative helicity states depending on...
An Energy Efficient Additive Neural Network
Afrasiyabi, Arman; Nasır, Barış; Yildiz, Ozan; Yarman Vural, Fatoş Tunay; ÇETİN, AHMET ENİS (2017-05-18)
In this paper, we propose a new energy efficient neural network with the universal approximation property over space of Lebesgue integrable functions. This network, called additive neural network, is very suitable for mobile computing. The neural structure is based on a novel vector product definition, called ef-operator, that permits a multiplier-free implementation. In ef-operation, the "product" of two real numbers is defined as the sum of their absolute values, with the sign determined by the sign of th...
