Tekil Schoen 3-katlılarının desingularizasyonlerı üzerinde sabit noktasız sonlu grup etkileri ve bölüm Calabi-Yau 3-katlıları
Karayayla, Tolga (2019-06-28)
Tekil Schoen 3-katlılarının çözülmeleri (resolution) üzerine serbest etkiyen sonlu gruplar ve grup etkisinin bölüm uzayı olan basit bağlantılı olmayan Calabi-Yau 3-katlıları
Karayayla, Tolga(2018-12-31)
Continuity problem for backward stochastic differential equations with singular nonmarkovian terminal conditions and deterministic terminal times
Ahmadi, Mahdi; Sezer, Ali Devin; Department of Financial Mathematics (2020-9)
In this thesis we study a class of Backward Stochastic Differential Equations (BSDE) with superlinear driver process f adapted to a filtration F = fFt; t 2 [0; T]g supporting at least a d dimensional Brownian motion and a Poisson random measure on Rm n f0g in a deterministic time interval [0; T]. The superlinearity of f allows terminal conditions that can take the value +1 with positive probability. Such terminal conditions are called “singular.” A terminal condition is said to be Markovian if it is a det...
Extending singular value decomposition based recommendation systems with tags and ontology
Turgut, Yakup; Toroslu, İsmail Hakkı; Department of Computer Engineering (2014)
Due to increase of the volume of data related to user ratings on items, in recent years, recommendation systems became very popular, which uses this data in order to rec- ommend items to users in many different domains. Singular Value Decomposition is one of the most widely studied collaborative filtering recommendation techniques. In some applications users are also allowed to enter (sometimes free) tags in addition to their ratings on items. Adding tags in addition to regular users’ ratings on items have a...
Numerical investigation of wind load characteristics around an isolated tall building
Demirbaş, Gökalp Doğukan; Köken, Mete; Kurç, Özgür; Department of Civil Engineering (2021-2-10)
As a common practice, wind loads on tall buildings are calculated using empirical formulas with several assumptions described within Turkish Standards: TS498 and TS EN 1991-1-4. Since these standards are mainly based on past site experiences and wind tunnel tests, these formulas become invalid with distinctive designs and the increase in the building height. With the development of computer technology, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) tools have become common in calculating wind loads on tall buildings. W...
