Doktora öğrencilerine yönelik çalışmalar, özellikle tez dönemindeki doktora öğrencilerinin ruh sağlığı anlamında risk grubunda olduklarını göstermektedir (Evans, Bira ve Vanderford, 2019). Covid-19 pandemisinin ruh sağlığı sorunları yaşama anlamında halihazırda risk grubunda olan doktora öğrencilerini nasıl etkilediği konusunda yürütülen araştırmaların sayısı oldukça sınırlıdır. Covid-19 pandemi koşullarının bu kişiler üzerindeki psikolojik yükü artırmış olma durumu göz önüne alındığında (Byrom, 2020; Chirikov ve ark., 2020), bu özel grubun durumunun tespiti ve gerekli önlemlerin geliştirilmesi hayati önem taşımaktadır. COST “Araştırmacı Ruh Sağlığı” Aksiyonunda yer alan Türkiye araştırma ekibi tarafından hazırlanan bu çalışmada, Ankara’da bir araştırma üniversitesinde öğrenim gören doktora öğrencilerinin pandemi sürecinden akademik, sosyal ve psikolojik olarak nasıl etkilendikleri araştırılmaktadır. Çalışma, devam etmekte olan çok-aşamalı bir araştırma tasarımının ilk aşamasına dayandığından bu kongrede ilk bulgular paylaşılacaktır. Araştırma Soruları Doktora öğrencilerinin Covid-19 pandemisinden etkilenme düzeylerini sağlık durumları, özel hayatları, kariyerleri ve sosyal hayatları bağlamında belirlemeye yönelik bu araştırmanın araştırma soruları aşağıdaki sıralanmıştır; 1. Covid-19 pandemisi süresinde doktora öğrencilerinin akademik süreçleri nasıl etkilenmiştir? 2. Covid-19 pandemisi doktora öğrencilerinin sağlık durumunlarını, özel hayatlarını, akademik hayatlarını, kariyerlerini ve sosyal hayatlarını nasıl etkilemektedir? 3. Covid-19 pandemi sürecinde doktora öğrencileri yaşadıkları stres ve kaygı durumları ile nasıl başa çıkmışlardır?
