This paper presents the analytical proof of "Time-Domain Mapping Method" for the spherical resonator made up of uniaxial crystal. In this way, the main types of caustics inside the spherical resonator made up of uniaxial crystal, which were investigated numerically before, are confirmed analytically. It is engraved that the problem of the ray flow inside the spherical resonator can be reduced to the problem of the ray flow inside metal cavity shaped as spheroid.

Optical properties of Ga2SeS crystals grown by Bridgman method were investigated by transmission, reflection and ellipsometry measurements. Analysis of the transmission and reflection measurements performed in the wavelength range of 400-1100 nm at room temperature indicated the presence of indirect and direct transitions with 2.28 eV and 2.38 eV band gap energies. Time reconstruction and performance of the CMS electromagnetic calorimeter

The resolution and the linearity of time measurements made with the CMS electromagnetic calorimeter are studied with samples of data from test beam electrons, cosmic rays, and beam-produced muons. The resulting time resolution measured by lead tungstate crystals is better than 100 ps for energy deposits larger than 10 GeV. Crystal-to-crystal synchronization with a precision of 500 ps is performed using muons produced with the first LHC beams in 2008.
LONGITUDINAL ELASTIC-WAVE PROPAGATION AND ENERGY FLUX AT A DISCONTINUITY OF 2 DISSIMILAR SEMIINFINITE CIRCULAR RODS

Elastic wave propagation through an area discontinuity of two dissimilar, bonded, semi-infinite circular rods is investigated analytically. In particular, the variations of the coefficients of stress reflection and transmission are determined in terms of the nondimensional cross sectional area and mechanical impedance parameters. The coefficients of energy flux reflection and transmission are also included. Then, the case is generalized to include a rigid mass attached at the discontinuity.
