Using the most general form of the interpolating currents of heavy baryons, the magnetic moments of heavy baryons Lambda(Q) (Q = b,c) are calculated in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules. A comparison of our results on magnetic moments with the existing theoretical results calculated in various other frameworks is presented.

Diagonal and transition magnetic moments of negative parity heavy baryons in QCD sum rules
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Barakat, T.; Savcı, Mustafa (2015-08-06)
Diagonal and transition magnetic moments of the negative parity, spin-1/2 heavy baryons are studied in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules. By constructing the sum rules for different Lorentz structures, the unwanted contributions coming from negative-to-positive (positive-to-negative) parity transitions are removed. It is obtained that the magnetic moments of all baryons, except Lambda(0)(b), Sigma(+)(c), and Xi(c)'(+), are quite large. It is also found that the transition magnetic moments betwee...
Magnetic moments of heavy J(P)=1/2(+) baryons in light cone QCD sum rules
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (2015-06-22)
The magnetic moments of heavy sextet J(P) = 1/2(+) baryons are calculated in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules method. Linearly independent relations among the magnetic moments of these baryons are obtained. The results for the magnetic moments of heavy baryons obtained in this work are compared with the predictions of the other approaches.
Magnetic Moments of 70-Plet Baryons in Quark Model and QCD Sum Rules
Alıyev, Tahmasıb (2015-01-01)
Magnetic moments of the positive parity 70-plet baryons are estimated in the framework of the nonrelativistic quark model and QCD sum rules method. It is found that the magnetic moments of the 70-plet baryons can be expressed in terms of the F and D couplings and exhibit unitary symmetry. The QCD sum rules for the magnetic moments of the 70-plet octet baryons are formulated. A comparison of our results on magnetic moments of 56-plet and 70-plet baryons predicted from QCD sum rules is presented.
Magnetic moments of J(P)=3/2-baryons in QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (2014-12-29)
The magnetic moments of the low lying, negative parity, spin-3/2 baryons, including the Lambda* baryon, are calculated within the light cone QCD sum rules method. The contributions coming from the positive parity, spin -3/2 baryons, as well as from the positive and negative parity spin -1/2 baryons are eliminated by constructing combinations of various invariant amplitudes corresponding to the coefficients of the different Lorentz structures. We also present the results for the magnetic moments of the posit...
Magnetic moments of negative parity baryons in QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (2014-03-06)
Using the most general form of the interpolating current for the octet baryons, the magnetic moments of the negative-parity baryons are calculated within the light-cone sum rules. The contributions coming from diagonal transitions of the positive-parity baryons and also from a nondiagonal transition between positive-and negative-parity baryons are eliminated by considering the combinations of different sum rules corresponding to the different Lorentz structures. A comparison of our results on magnetic momen...
