Using the most general, model independent effective Hamiltonian, the branching ratio of the B --> K* l(+)l(-) decay, when K* meson is longitudinally or transversally polarized, is presented. The dependence of the branching ratio on the new Wilson coefficients, when K* meson is polarized. is studied. It is observed that the branching ratio is very sensitive to the vector and tenser type interactions, which will be useful in search of new physics beyond the Standard Model.

The polarized lepton pair forward-backward asymmetries in B ->rho l(+)l(-) decay using a general, model independent form of the four-Fermi interaction is studied. The general expressions for nine double-lepton polarization forward-backward asymmetries are calculated. The study of the forward-backward asymmetries of the doubly polarized lepton pair proves to be a very useful tool in looking for new physics beyond the standard model.

The decay width, forward-backward asymmetry and lepton longitudinal and transversal polarization for the exclusive B --> K* l(+)l(-) decay in a two Higgs doublet model are computed. We study the differential branching ratio and CP asymmetry for the exclusive decay B --> K*l(+)l(-) in the three Higgs doublet model with an additional global O(2) symmetry in the Higgs sector. We analyze the dilepton mass square q(2) dependency of these quantities. Using the most general, model independent form of effective Hamiltonian, the transverse polarization PT of A in Ab Al(+)l(-) decay is studied. It is observed that the averaged (PT) is very sensitive to the existence of new physics and can attain large values, which can be measured at future colliders.
Probing the sources of CP violation via B -> K*l(+)l(-) decay

B-->K*l(-)I(+) (l=mu, tau) is analyzed in a minimally extended standard model in which the Wilson coefficients have new CP-odd phases. The sensitivity of the CP asymmetry and lepton polarization asymmetries to the new phases is discussed. It is found that the CP asymmetry is sensitive to the new phase in the Wilson coefficient C-7 whereas the normal lepton polarization asymmetry is sensitive to the phase in the Wilson coefficient C-10.
