We study the differential branching ratio and CP asymmetry for the exclusive decay B --> K*l(+)l(-) in the three Higgs doublet model with an additional global O(2) symmetry in the Higgs sector. We analyze the dilepton mass square q(2) dependency of these quantities. Further, we study the effect of a new parameter of the global symmetry in the Higgs sector on the differential branching ratio and CP asymmetry. We see that there exists an enhancement in the branching ratio and considerable CP violation for the relevant process. In addition to this, we realize that fixing the dilepton mass gives information about the sign of the Wilson coefficient C-7(eff). Therefore, the future measurements of the CP asymmetry for the B --> K*l(+)l(-) decay will give powerful information about the sign of the Wilson coefficient C-7(eff) and new physics beyond the SM.

The decay width, forward-backward asymmetry and lepton longitudinal and transversal polarization for the exclusive B --> K* l(+)l(-) decay in a two Higgs doublet model are computed. It is shown that all these quantities are very effective tools for establishing new physics. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science B.V.
Exclusive B ->pi l(+)l(-) and B -> pl(+)l(-) decays in the two Higgs doublet model
Alıyev, Tahmasıb (1999-07-01)
We investigate the exclusive B-->pi l(+)l(-) and B-->rho l(+)l(-) decays in the framework of the general two Higgs doublet model (model III), in which an extra phase angle in the charged-Higes fermion coupling, i.e., a new source for CP violation, exists. The CP violation for both decays is calculated and it is observed that the CP-violating asymmetry in model III differs significantly from the one predicted by the standard model and model II which is a special case of model III. Furthermore, it is shown th...
b -> s tau(+)tau(-) decay in the two Higgs doublet model with flavor changing neutral currents
Iltan, EO; Turan, Gürsevil (2001-06-01)
We study the decay width and forward-backward asymmetry of the lepton pair for the inclusive decay b -->s tau (+)tau (-) in the two Higgs doublet model with three level flavor changing neutral currents (model III) and analyze the dependencies of these quantities on the model III parameters, including the leading order QCD corrections. We find that there is a considerable enhancement in the decay width and neutral Higgs effects are detectable for large values of the parameter <(<xi>)over bar>(D)(N,tau tau).
The exclusive B-s ->phi l(+)l(-) decay in the two Higgs doublet models

We study the differential branching ratio, the branching ratio and the forward-backward asymmetry for exclusive B-s --> phil(+)l(-) decay in the two Higgs doublet model. We analyze the dependences of these quantities on the model parameters and show that these observables are highly sensitive to new physics and hence may provide a powerful probe of the SM and beyond.
Exclusive B -> K*l(+)l(-) decay with polarized K* and new physics effects
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Özpineci, Altuğ; Savcı, Mustafa (2001-06-28)
Using the most general, model independent effective Hamiltonian, the branching ratio of the B --> K* l(+)l(-) decay, when K* meson is longitudinally or transversally polarized, is presented. The dependence of the branching ratio on the new Wilson coefficients, when K* meson is polarized. is studied. It is observed that the branching ratio is very sensitive to the vector and tenser type interactions, which will be useful in search of new physics beyond the Standard Model.
