Measurement of inclusive jet and dijet production in pp collisions at root s=7 TeV using the ATLAS detector
Aad, G.; et. al. (2012-07-24)
Inclusive jet and dijet cross sections have been measured in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 7 TeV using the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. The cross sections were measured using jets clustered with the anti-kt algorithm with parameters R = 0.4 and R = 0.6. These measurements are based on the 2010 data sample, consisting of a total integrated luminosity of 37 pb(-1). Inclusive jet double-differential cross sections are presented as a function of jet transverse momentum, ...

Coupling constant g (rho sigma gamma) as derived from QCD sum rules
Gokalp, A; Yılmaz, Osman (2001-08-01)
We employ QCD sum rules to calculate the coupling constant g(rho sigma gamma) by studying the three-point rho sigma gamma correlation function. Our result is consistent with the value of this coupling constant obtained using vector meson dominance of the electromagnetic current and the experimental rho (o) photoproduction data.
Magnetic resonance conductivity tensor imaging (MRCTİ) at 3 tesla
Sadighi, Mehdi; Eyüboğlu, Behçet Murat; Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (2014)
Electrical conductivity of biological tissues changes with physiological and pathological state of tissue. Therefore, recognizing the changes of the conductivity distribution inside human body, provides unique information about the pathological conditions of internal organs which is not available from other imaging modalities. Magnetic Resonance Electrical Impedance Tomography (MREIT) is an imaging technique to reconstruct the isotropic conductivity distribution of the biological tissues. But most of the bi...
Prediction of Vibro-Acoustic Response of Enclosed Spaces by Using Structural Modification Techniques
Demirkan, O.; BAŞDOĞAN, FATMA İPEK; Özgüven, Hasan Nevzat; Çalışkan, Mehmet (2010-09-22)
Low frequency noise caused by vibrating panels can become a problem for vehicles from NVH standpoint. The vibro-acoustic analysis of a simplified vehicle model is presented in this study. Analysis of vibro-acoustic behavior includes frequency response analysis of structure by Finite Element Method (FEM) and sound pressure level (SPL) prediction of the cabin interior by Boundary Element Method (BEM). The structural design of the vibrating panels can be modified by adding stiffeners to improve the acoustic fi...
