Sivas Cer Atölyesi (Railway Repair Shop) and the creation of the railway campus are the most decisive factors that marked the Republican modernizationin Sivas that began with the inclusion in the city in the railway transportation network. This thesis studies the place of Sivas Cer Atölyesi and Sivas railway campuses as a part of the industrial heritage and railway heritage of the country. Following a historical research and interviews conducted to figure out the place that this heritage takes in the collective memory of the citizens, the study aims to reveal the values, obsolescences, and potentials of the industrial zone and railway structures within the scope of industrial heritage. Therefore, as a reference for the studies to be conducted for the conservation and development of the railway campus, a holistic assessment framework was developed. In the study, the historical development, architectural and spatial characteristics of the railway campus and its buildings and, the spatial, mental, and social dimensions of this heritage are examined. An oral history study was conducted through semi-structured interviews with people who have been in contact with these campuses during a period of their lives. Finally, based on the vi assessment of values, the potentials of the railway campus in the future regeneration of the city are discussed.
