Plateaued (vectorial) functions have an important role in the sequence and cryptography frameworks. Given their importance, they have not been studied in detail in general framework. Several researchers found recently results on their characterizations and introduced new tools to understand their structure and to design such functions. In this work, we mainly extend some of the observations made in characteristic 2 and given in (Carlet, IEEE Trans. Inf. Theor. 61(11), 6272- 6289, 2015) to arbitrary characteristic. We first extend to arbitrary characteristic the characterizations of plateaued (vectorial) Boolean functions by the autocorrelation functions, next their characterizations in terms of the secondorder derivatives, and finally their characterizations via the moments of the Walsh transform.

Secondary constructions of (non)weakly regular plateaued functions over finite fields
Mesnager, Sihem; Özbudak, Ferruh; Sinak, Ahmet (2021-01-01)
Plateaued (vectorial) functions over finite fields have diverse applications in symmetric cryptography, coding theory, and sequence theory. Constructing these functions is an attractive research topic in the literature. We can distinguish two kinds of constructions of plateaued functions: secondary constructions and primary constructions. The first method uses already known functions to obtain new functions while the latter do not need to use previously constructed functions to obtain new functions. In this...
ANISOTROPIC CHANGES INDUCED BY ION IRRADIATION ON BI-BASED HIGH T(C) SUPERCONDUCTORS
HAMDAN, NM; ZIQ, KA; HALLAK, AB; OZKAN, H (1993-09-01)
(Bi,Pb)2Sr2Ca2Cu3O10 high T(c) superconducting samples were subject to irradiation by 7 MeV Si ions. X-ray diffraction analysis showed that the intensity of the (00l) peaks decrease rapidly with ion irradiation, while that of the mixed index peaks (hkl) changes very little. The a-parameter decreases first then increases with ion fluence while the c-parameter increase continuously with ion irradiation.
A theoretical study on camptothecin-AM1 treatment
Türker, Burhan Lemi (2001-08-13)
Camptothecin (irinotecan), a new cytotoxic agent having antitumor activity and especially used in the treatment of advanced colorectal cancers is considered for AM1-RBF type semiempirical quantum chemical treatment together with some analogs of camptothecin. The structural properties and energetics of these molecules have been compared. The structures arising from monoprotonation of camptothecin at various sites are analyzed from thermodynamic point of view.
PERIODIC COVARIANCE STATIONARITY OF MULTIVARIATE PERIODIC AUTOREGRESSIVE MOVING AVERAGE PROCESSES
ULA, TA (American Geophysical Union (AGU), 1990-05-01)
Periodic (covariance) Stationarity conditions for multivariate periodic autoregressive moving average (PARMA) processes are investigated. It follows from a previous work that a necessary and sufficient condition for the periodic Stationarity of a multivariate periodic process is the (covariance) Stationarity of the “lumped” vector process which contains the periodic vectors as its elements. It is shown that for univariate and multivariate PARMA processes, even with periodically varying orders, the lumped pr...
Measurement of pseudorapidity distributions of charged particles in proton-proton collisions at root s=8 TeV by the CMS and TOTEM experiments
Chatrchyan, S.; et. al. (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2014-10-01)
Pseudorapidity (eta) distributions of charged particles produced in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 8 TeV are measured in the ranges vertical bar eta vertical bar < 2.2 and 5.3 < vertical bar eta vertical bar < 6.4 covered by the CMS and TOTEM detectors, respectively. The data correspond to an integrated luminosity of L = 45 mu b(-1). Measurements are presented for three event categories. The most inclusive category is sensitive to 91-96 % of the total inelastic proton-proton cross se...
