(Bi,Pb)2Sr2Ca2Cu3O10 high T(c) superconducting samples were subject to irradiation by 7 MeV Si ions. X-ray diffraction analysis showed that the intensity of the (00l) peaks decrease rapidly with ion irradiation, while that of the mixed index peaks (hkl) changes very little. The a-parameter decreases first then increases with ion fluence while the c-parameter increase continuously with ion irradiation.

Pyramidalized double bonds containing endoperoxide linkages: Photooxygenation of dimethyl cis-3,8-dihydroheptalene-3,8-dicarboxylate
Saracoglu, N; Menzek, A; Sayan, S; Salzner, U; Balcı, Metin (1999-09-03)
Diels-Alder cyclo;addition utilizing singlet oxygen as the dienophile with dimethyl cis-3,8-dihydraheptalene-3,8-dicarboxylate (5) has been investigated, and monoaddition product 7 has been isolated. The addition of a second singlet oxygen to the cycloheptatriene unit in 7 gave syn-bis(norcaradiene) bis(endoperoxide) 4. H-1 NMR spectral studies and theoretical calculations indicate the increased pyramidalization in syn-4 compared with carbon analogue. The increased pyramidalization results from hyperconjuga...
Explicit Characterizations for Plateaued-ness of p-ary (Vectorial) Functions
CARLET, CLAUDE; MESNAGER, SİHEM; Özbudak, Ferruh; SINAK, AHMET (2017-04-12)
Plateaued (vectorial) functions have an important role in the sequence and cryptography frameworks. Given their importance, they have not been studied in detail in general framework. Several researchers found recently results on their characterizations and introduced new tools to understand their structure and to design such functions. In this work, we mainly extend some of the observations made in characteristic 2 and given in (Carlet, IEEE Trans. Inf. Theor. 61(11), 6272- 6289, 2015) to arbitrary characte...
Secondary constructions of (non)weakly regular plateaued functions over finite fields
Mesnager, Sihem; Özbudak, Ferruh; Sinak, Ahmet (2021-01-01)
Plateaued (vectorial) functions over finite fields have diverse applications in symmetric cryptography, coding theory, and sequence theory. Constructing these functions is an attractive research topic in the literature. We can distinguish two kinds of constructions of plateaued functions: secondary constructions and primary constructions. The first method uses already known functions to obtain new functions while the latter do not need to use previously constructed functions to obtain new functions. In this...
Preparation and characterization of surface modified gamma-Fe2O3 (maghemite)-silica nanocomposites used for the purification of benzaldehyde lyase
TURAL, Bilsen; Sopaci, S. Betul; Özkan, Necati; Demir, Ayhan Sıtkı; Volkan, Mürvet (2011-08-01)
gamma-Fe2O3 (maghemite)-silica nanocomposite particles were synthesized using a sol-gel method. The condensation products of 3-glycidoxy propyltrimethoxy silane (GPTMS) and nitrilotriacetic acid (NTA) were introduced onto the surfaces of the gamma-Fe2O3 silica nanocomposite particles and subsequently, these modified surfaces were complexed with cobalt (Co+2) metal ions. A possibility of using these surface modified gamma-Fe2O3-silica particles for the purification of 6 x histidine tagged recombinant benzald...
Inclusive and differential measurements of the t(t)over-bar charge asymmetry in pp collisions at root s=8 TeV
Khachatryan, V.; et. al. (Elsevier BV, 2016-06-01)
The t (t) over bar charge asymmetry is measured in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 8 TeV. The data, collected with the CMS experiment at the LHC, correspond to an integrated luminosity of 19.7 fb(-1). Selected events contain an electron or a muon and four or more jets, where at least one jet is identified as originating from b-quark hadronization. The inclusive charge asymmetry is found to be 0.0010 +/- 0.0068 (stat)+/- 0.0037 (syst). In addition, differential charge asymmetries as a ...
