Waveguide filters with ridged and unequal width resonators
Yıldırım, Nevzat; Hizal, A (2005-06-17)
Analytical expressions are developed for characterization of ridged / finned waveguides for use in the design of direct coupled waveguide filters with ridged and / or unequal width resonators. The analytical expressions are used to control the harmonic passbands and higher order modes. A survey is made for comparison of responses of waveguide filters using unequal width resonators and unequal ridge resonators. it is found that ridged resonators are more effective in suppressing the spurious passbands in the...
Modulus of Elasticity Estimation with One Dimensional Consolidation Test
Tanrıseven, Esra Nur; Bilgin, Hasan Aydın; Duzgun, Sebnem H. (2015-11-18)
The modulus of elasticity has primary importance in geotechnical engineering, since it defines the deformability of soil under existing field stresses and applied static loads. Elastic modulus (E-s) is most commonly derived from field tests (plate load test, standard penetration test, and cone penetration test etc.) and laboratory tests (unconfined compression tests, triaxial compression tests). Apart from these common methods, empirical relations may also be used to predict modulus of elasticity from one d...
Waveguide multiplexer: miniaturized contiguous-band six-channel multiplexer structure
Sevinc, Y.; Demir, Şimşek (2017-08-24)
Efficient design procedure is introduced for the design of miniaturized contiguous band manifold-coupled multiplexer using the combination of the circuit-full-wave-based optimization in this study. Systematic methodology is based on the design of miniaturized channel filters using circuit model extraction and H-plane manifold network with hybrid optimization. The multiplexer is firstly analyzed in circuit level, and relevant lengths between channel filters and the lengths between each channel filters to man...
Modulo Periodic Poisson Stable Solutions of Quasilinear Differential Equations
Akhmet, Marat; Zhamanshin, Akylbek (2021-11-01)
In this paper, modulo periodic Poisson stable functions have been newly introduced. Quasilinear differential equations with modulo periodic Poisson stable coefficients are under investigation. The existence and uniqueness of asymptotically stable modulo periodic Poisson stable solutions have been proved. Numerical simulations, which illustrate the theoretical results are provided.
