The inclusive b$\rightarrow$s$\gamma$ decay in the noncommutative standard model

2002-7-29
İltan, E.O
We study the new structures appearing due to noncommutative effects in the inclusive decay b --> sgamma*, in the standard model. We present the corresponding coefficients which carry the space-space and space-time noncommutativity.

The form factors existing in the b -> sg* decay and the possible CP violating effects in the noncommutative standard model
Iltan, EO (2002-11-01)
We study the form factors appearing in the inclusive decay b --> sg*, in the framework of the noncommutative standard model. Here g* denotes the virtual gluon. We get additional structures and the corresponding form factors in the noncommutative geometry. We analyse the dependencies of the form factors to the parameter p Theta k where p (k) are the four momenta of incoming (outgoing) b quark (virtual gluon g*), Theta is a parameter which measures the noncommutativity of the geometry. We see that the form fa...
The exclusive (B)over-bar ->pi e(+)e(-) and (B)over-bar ->rho e(+)e(-) decays in the two Higgs doublet model with flavor changing neutral currents
Iltan, EO (World Scientific Pub Co Pte Lt, 1999-10-30)
We present the leading logarithmic QCD corrections to the matrix element of the decay b --> de(+)e(-) in the two Higgs doublet model with tree level flavor changing currents (model III). We continue studying the differential branching ratio and the CP-violating asymmetry for the exclusive decays B --> pi e(+)e(-) and B --> pe(+)e(-) and analysing the dependencies of these quantities on the selected model III parameters, xi(U,D), including the leading logarithmic QCD corrections. Further, we present the forw...
The exclusive B ->pi l(+)l(-) and B ->rho l(+)l(-) decays in the general two Higgs doublet model
Erkol, G; Turan, Gürsevil (2002-02-01)
We study the differential branching ratio, branching ratio and the forward-backward asymmetry for the exclusive B --> pil(+)l(-) and B --> rhol(+)l(-) decays in the general two Higgs doublet model including the neutral Higgs boson erects. We analyze the dependencies of these quantities on the neutral Higgs boson contributions and the other model parameters. We observe that two Higgs doublet model with the neutral Higgs boson exchanges gives quite sizable contributions to these observables for both channels ...
The Lorentz and CPT violating effects on the Z -> l(+) l(-) decay
Iltan, EO (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2005-03-01)
We study the Lorentz and CPT violating effects on the branching ratio, the CPT violating asymmetry and the ratio of the decay width, including only the Lorentz violating effects, to the one obtained in the standard model, for the flavor dependent part of the lepton flavor conserving Z -> l(+) l(-) (l = e, mu, tau) decay. The inclusion of the Lorentz and CPT violating e. ects in the standard model contribution are too small to be detected, since the corresponding coefficients are highly suppressed at the low...
The possible effects of non-universal extra dimensions on t -> cl(i)(-)l(j)(+) and H-0 -> h(0)(A(0))l(i)(-)l(j)(+) decays in the general two Higgs doublet model
Iltan, E. O. (IOP Publishing, 2006-06-01)
We study the effects of non-universal extra dimensions on the decay widths of the lepton flavour violating (LFV) processes, t --> c l(i)(-) i l(j)(+) and H-0 --> h(0)(A(0)) l(i)(-)l(j)(+) in the general two Higgs doublet model. We consider that the extra dimensions are accessible to the standard model gauge fields and the new Higgs doublet. We observe that the LFV H-0 --> h(0)(tau(+) mu(-) + mu(+)) and H-0 --> A(0)(tau(+)mu(-) + tau(-) mu(+)) Higgs decays are sensitive to the extra dimensions, especially in...
