Using Cartan's geometric formulation of partial diffential equations in the language of exterior differential forms, it is shown that bosonic membrane equations of Duff-Inami-Pope-Sezgin-Stelle (DIPSS) constitute an involutory system. The symmetries of reformulated DIPSS bosonic membrane equations are studied using three forms, elucidating in this way the previous results concerning Lie-point symmetries (Killing symmetries).

Radiation in Yang-Mills Formulation of Gravity and a Generalized pp-Wave Metric
Başkal, Sibel (Oxford University Press (OUP), 1999-10-1)
Variational methods applied to a quadratic Yang-Mills-type Lagrangian yield two sets of relations interpreted as the field equations and the energy-momentum tensor for the gravitational field. A covariant condition is imposed on the energy-momentum tensor in order for it to represent the radiation field. A generalized pp-wave metric is found to simultaneously satisfy both the field equations and the radiation condition. The result is compared with that of Lichnerowicz.
Hybrid mesons in the context of the relativistic equation
Zakout, I; Sever, Ramazan (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 1997-08-01)
The flux tube model of hybrid mesons is studied in the context of the relativistic equation in the adiabatic approximation. The moment of inertia of the rigid-rod flux tube is considered in the kinetic part of the interaction. The nonrelativistic and relativistic one scalar bead flux tube is integrated numerically and compared with the adiabatic flux tube small oscillation approximation. The relativistic scalar bead picture suggests that the lowest gluonic excitation of a massive gluon is color octet q (q) ...
Accelerated Levi-Civita-Bertotti-Robinson metric in D dimensions
Gurses, M; Sarıoğlu, Bahtiyar Özgür (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2005-12-01)
A conformally flat accelerated charge metric is found in an arbitrary dimension D. It is a solution of the Einstein-Maxwell-null fluid equations with a cosmological constant in D >= 4 dimensions. When the acceleration is zero, our solution reduces to the Levi-Civita-Bertotti-Robinson metric. We show that the charge loses its energy, for all dimensions, due to the acceleration.
Discrete symmetries and nonlocal reductions
GÜRSES, METİN; Pekcan, Asli; Zheltukhın, Kostyantyn (Elsevier BV, 2020-01-31)
We show that nonlocal reductions of systems of integrable nonlinear partial differential equations are the special discrete symmetry transformations.
Measurement of differential cross sections for the production of top quark pairs and of additional jets in lepton plus jets events from pp collisions at root s=13 TeV
Sirunyan, A. M.; et. al. (American Physical Society (APS), 2018-06-01)
Differential and double-differential cross sections for the production of top quark pairs in proton-proton collisions at root s = 13 TeV are measured as a function of kinematic variables of the top quarks and the top quark-antiquark (t (t) over bar) system. In addition, kinematic variables and multiplicities of jets associated with the t (t) over bar production are measured. This analysis is based on data collected by the CMS experiment at the LHC in 2016 corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 35.8 fb...
