recise, absolute γ-ray efficiences (∈ γ ) and total efficiences (∈ T), have been measured at various distances from the detector, using a set of standards. The observed linear variation of∈ γ and∈ T as well as∈ γ /∈ T with Eγ and1/d−−√ provides a simple means of interpolation and extrapolation. Experimental coincidence summation effects were determined for various nuclides and compared with calculated values. The results are found to be in good agreement with each other.

Determination of pre-scission kinetic energy in low energy fission using Isotonic Charge Distribution Model
Buyukmumcu, Z; Kildir, M; Aras, NK (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 1996-04-01)
The parameters of Isotonic Charge Distribution Model have been calculated for several isotones of three law energy fissioning systems. The global charge even-add effects are determined as 0.27 +/- 0.04 for thermal neutron induced fission of U-233(U233T), 0.27 +/- 0.05 for U235T and 0.13 +/- 0.05 for PU239T. The pre-scission kinetic energies for U235T and PU239T are estimated and found to be similar to 16 MeV.
Radiation induced chain addition of allylbenzene to 1,4-dioxane
Nesterov, SV; Kucukyavuz, S; Önal, Ahmet Muhtar (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 1999-06-01)
Radiation induced chain addition of allylbenzene to 1,4-dioxane has been studied by IR-, UV-, mass-, NMR- and ESR-spectrometry. Efficiency of the addition depends on the concentration of monomer and it has an optimum at C-monom<0.125M. Apparently, upper concentration limit of the reaction is caused by absorbed energy transfer on the molecule of monomer followed by energy deactivation. Radiation-chemical yields of the product are 12 and 31 molec./100 eV for 0.125M and 0.07M solution, respectively. The value ...
Spontaneous symmetry breaking at two loop in 3-d massless scalar electrodynamics
Tan, PN; Tekin, Bayram; Hosotani, Y (Elsevier BV, 1996-11-21)
In three-dimensional Maxwell-Chem-Simons massless scalar electrodynamics with phi(6) coupling, the U(1) symmetry is spontaneously broken at two loop order regardless of the presence or absence of the Maxwell term. Dimensional transmutation takes place in pure Chem-Simons scalar electrodynamics. The beta function for the phi(6) coupling is independent of gauge couplings.
Measurements of jet multiplicity and differential production cross sections of Z plus jets events in proton-proton collisions at root s=7 TeV
Khachatryan, V.; et. al. (American Physical Society (APS), 2015-03-01)
Measurements of differential cross sections are presented for the production of a Z boson and at least one hadronic jet in proton-proton collisions at root s = 7 TeV, recorded by the CMS detector, using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 4.9 fb(-1). The jet multiplicity distribution is measured for up to six jets. The differential cross sections are measured as a function of jet transverse momentum and pseudorapidity for the four highest transverse momentum jets. The distribution of ...
Strong coupling constants of light pseudoscalar mesons with heavy baryons in QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (Elsevier BV, 2011-01-31)
We calculate the strong coupling constants of light pseudoscalar mesons with heavy baryons within the light cone QCD sum rules method. It is shown that sextet-sextet, sextet-antitriplet and antitriplet-antitriplet transitions are described by one universal invariant function for each class. A comparison of our results on the coupling constants with the predictions existing in literature is also presented.
