Linear viscoelastic properties of a model suspension containing hydroxyl terminated polybutadiene (HTPB) and glass beads with filler concentration up to 30% by volume were investigated by using a Haake parallel disk rheometer. For all the suspensions, it was observed that the rheological properties such as the storage modulus, G', loss modulus, G" and complex viscosity, eta* increases with the filler content, Phi. The relaxation spectra was calculated by using G' and G". The relaxation moduli, G(i)(lambda(i),Phi), decreased with the relaxation time, lambda(i) but increased with the filler content, Phi.

Viscoelastic properties of suspensions with weakly interacting particles
Bayram, Göknur; Orbey, N (1998-10-01)
Rheological characterization of a model suspension containing hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene and glass beads with filler concentration up to 30% by volume was performed by using a Haake parallel disk rheometer. The rheological tests conducted were the measurement of the storage modulus, G', loss modulus, G ", and complex viscosity, eta*, as functions of the frequency and the steady shear viscosity as a function of the shear rate. The linear viscoelastic region was determined to extend up to 50% strain by...
Exact solutions of the supersmmetric quantum mechanics
Faridfathi, Gholamreza; Sever, Ramazan; Department of Physics (2005)
The supersymmetric solutions of PT-/non-PT symmetric and Hermitian/non-Hermitian forms of quantum systems are obtained by solving the SchrÄodinger equation with the deformed Morse, Hulthœen, PÄoschl-Teller, Hyperbolic Kratzer-like, Screened Coulomb, and Exponential-Cosine Screened Coulomb (ECSC) potentials. The Hamiltonian hi- erarchy method is used to get the real energy eigenvalues and corresponding wave functions.
Flow Characterization of Viscoelastic Fluids around Square Obstacle
Tezel, Guler Bengusu; YAPICI, Kerim; Uludağ, Yusuf (Periodica Polytechnica Budapest University of Technology and Economics, 2019-01-01)
This study focuses on the computational implementation of structured non-uniform finite volume method for the 2-D laminar flow of viscoelastic fluid past a square section of cylinder in a confined channel with a blockage ratio 1/4 for Re = 10(-)(4), 5, 10 and 20. Oldroyd-B model (constant viscosity with elasticity) and the PTT model (shear-thinning with elasticity) are the constitutive models considered. In this study effects of the elasticity and inertia on the drag coefficients and stress fields around th...
Optical properties of Cu3In5S9 single crystals by spectroscopic ellipsometry
Işık, Mehmet; Nasser, H.; Ahmedova, F.; Guseinov, A.; Hasanlı, Nızamı (2018-01-01)
Cu3In5S9 single crystals were investigated by structural methods of x-ray diffraction and energy dispersive spectroscopy and optical techniques of ellipsometry and reflection carried out at room temperature. The spectral dependencies of optical constants; dielectric function, refractive index and extinction coefficient, were plotted in the range of 1.2-6.2 eV from ellipsometric data. The spectra of optical constants obtained from ellipsometry analyses and reflectance spectra presented a sharp change around ...
STRUCTURAL INVESTIGATION OF NANO HYDROXYAPATITES DOPED WITH Mg(2+) AND F(-) IONS
Sun, Z. P.; Evis, Zafer (2009-01-23)
Pure and Mg(2+) & F(-) doped nano hydroxyapatites (HA) were synthesized by a precipitation method and sintered at 1100 degrees C to investigate their densification and structure. Different amounts of Mg(2+) and F ions were doped in to HAs. X-ray diffraction was used to identify the presence of phases And lattice parameters of HA and tri-calcium phosphates (TCP) present in the samples. Densification of HA was improved by the addition of these ions. In most of the doped samples, beta-tri-calcium phosphate (TC...
