Kamu İnternet Sitelerinde Yer Alan Arama Alanlarının Kullanılabilirliği ve Buna Yönelik Kullanıcı Davranışlarının Analizi

Bu çalışmada Türkiye'de bulunan 21 Bakanlık internet sitesinin arama alanlarının kullanılabilirlik ve işlevsellik açısından değerlendirilmesi yapılarak arama alanlarına yönelik kullanıcı davranışlarının analizi amaçlanmıştır. 2014 yılı Ocak-Haziran ayları arasında yürütülen çalışmanın ilk aşamasında içerik analizi yöntemi ile kurumların internet sitelerindeki arama alanlarının mevcut durumları incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın ikinci aşamasında 20 katılımcı ile birlikte arama alanlarına yönelik kullanıcı davranışları belirlenmiştir. Veriler göz izleme cihazı kullanılarak ve katılımcıların arama alanlarına yönelik tercihlerinin belirlendiği bir anket ile toplanmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda elde edilen bulgulara göre internet sitelerinin arama alanlarında kullanılabilirlik ve işlevsellikleri ile ilgili sorunlar olduğu belirlenmiştir. Kullanıcı davranışlarına yönelik elde edilen bulgulara göre, katılımcıların Bakanlık internet sitelerinin arama alanlarını kullanmak yerine, hazır arama motorları üzerinden ilgili sitelerin içeriklerine ulaşmayı tercih ettikleri görülmüştür. Araştırma bulguları ve potansiyel çıkarımlar mevcut yazın ışığında detaylı olarak incelenmiştir
