Synthesis of a novel poly(arylene ether ketone) and its conducting composites with polypyrrole
Selampinar, F; Akbulut, Ural; Yildiz, E; Gungor, A; Toppare, Levent Kamil (1997-08-01)
The synthesis of a 1,3-bis(4-fluorobenzoyl)-5-tert-butyl benzene and hexafluoro bisphenol A based poly(arylene ether ketone) (PEK) was described. The electrically conductive composites of polypyrrole (PPy) and PEK were formed by electropolymerization of pyrrole on a PEK coated platinum electrode in a medium containing water and p-toluenesulfonic acid as the solvent and the electrolyte, respectively. The electrical conductivity of the composites was found to be between 1 and 4 S/cm. The polypyrrole/poly( eth...
Synthesis of a regular polymer containing pseudo-polyether cages
Cihaner, A; Önal, Ahmet Muhtar (Elsevier BV, 2005-04-20)
A new compound consisting of 2-thienyl units linked by polyether bridge has been synthesized and its electrochemical polymerization was performed via constant potential electrolysis (CPE) in an electrolytic solution containing 0.1 M tetrabutylammonium hexafluorophosphate (TBAPF(6)) dissolved in CH3CN. Chemical polymerization was carried out using FeCl3 as oxidizing agent. It is found that both methods gave the same polymer product without any cleavage of the polyether bridge between thiophene (Th) rings. Al...
Synthesis of a hexafluoropropylidene-bis(phthalic anhydride)-based polyimide and its conducting polymer composites with polypyrrole
Selampinar, F; Akbulut, Ural; Yilmaz, T; Gungor, A; Toppare, Levent Kamil (Wiley, 1997-10-01)
A new electrically conducting composite film from polypyrrole and 4,4'-(hexafluoroisopropylidene)-bis(phthalic anhydride)-based polyimide was prepared. Pyrrole and the dopant ion can easily penetrate through the polyimide substrate and electropolymerize on the platinum (Pt) electrode due to the swelling of the polyimide on the metal electrode. The electrochemical properties of polypyrrole-polyimide (PPy/PI) composite films have been investigated by using cyclic voltammetry. The PPy/PI composite film is suit...
Synthesis of some novel derivatives of 2,6-diaminoanthraquinone dyes
Yildirir, Yilmaz; Özdemir, Melek; Disli, Ali; Çolak, Naki (2008-11-01)
In present study, some derivatives of 2,6-diaminoanthraquinone dyes are synthesized and their UV-visible spectra are investigated in various conditions. Ten compounds (la-e) and (2a-e), two of which (1a, 1b) were previously obtained in low yields, have been synthesized by using diazonium salts of 2,6-diaminoanthraquinone and characterized by spectroscopic methods.
Synthesis of the possible carcinogenic dihydrodiol and diol epoxide of phthalazine
Ozer, G; Saracoglu, N; Menzek, A; Balcı, Metin (Elsevier BV, 2005-02-07)
Inverse-Diels-Alder reaction of dimethyl 1,2,4,5 -tetrazine-3,6-dicarboxylate with benzene cis-diol gave dihydrodiol coninini 2 the 1,4-dihydropyridazine ring. Attempts at oxidation of the dihydropyridazine ring with PIFA and MnO2, resulted in the formation of 5- and 5,6-dihydroxy-phthalazine derivatives. The oxidation of the dihydropyfidazine ring was achieved by way of photooxygenation. The phthalazine type dihydrodiol is unstable and easily undergoes aromatization. The Diels-Alder reaction of tetrazine w...
