The purpose of the present study was to investigate reliability and validity of Turkish version of Ambivalent Sexism Scale that includes both hostile and benevolent sexism. 1023 Middle East Technical University students participated in the study. The Cronbach's Alfa for the ASI was .85. Computed test-retest reliability coefficient was .87. The ASI correlated. 60 with the sex-role stereotyping of Burt (1980). The original factor structure of the ASI was replicated in the present study. In general, Turkish ASI had sufficiently high reliability and good validity to justify its use as a measurement of sexism in Turkey.
