We give a review of our recent work on conserved charges in cosmological spacetimes. We compute the mass and the angular momenta of various solutions in D dimensions. This is an extended version of a talk given by B. Tekin. The original material can be found in the related papers in our references.

Conserved charges in extended theories of gravity
Adami, Hamed; Setare, Mohammad Reza; Sisman, Tahsin Cagri; Tekin, Bayram (Elsevier BV, 2019-11-20)
We give a detailed review of construction of conserved quantities in extended theories of gravity for asymptotically maximally symmetric spacetimes and carry out explicit computations for various solutions. Our construction is based on the Killing charge method, and a proper discussion of the conserved charges of extended gravity theories with this method requires studying the corresponding charges in Einstein's theory with or without a cosmological constant. Hence we study the ADM charges (in the asymptoti...
Supersymmetric backgrounds and black holes in N = 1 , 1 $$ \mathcal{N}=\left(1,\;1\right) $$ cosmological new massive supergravity
Alkaç, Gökhan; Basanisi, Luca; Bergshoeff, Eric A.; Devecioğlu, Deniz Olgu; Ozkan, Mehmet (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2015-10)
Using an off-shell Killing spinor analysis we perform a systematic investigation of the supersymmetric background and black hole solutions of the N = (1, 1) Cosmological New Massive Gravity model. The solutions with a null Killing vector are the same pp-wave solutions that one finds in the N = 1 model but we find new solutions with a time-like Killing vector that are absent in the N = 1 case. An example of such a solution is a Lifshitz spacetime. We also consider the supersymmetry properties of the so-calle...
Mass and angular momentum of asymptotically AdS or flat solutions in the topologically massive gravity
Olmez, S; Sarıoğlu, Bahtiyar Özgür; Tekin, Bayram (IOP Publishing, 2005-10-21)
We study the conserved charges of supersymmetric solutions in the topologically massive gravity theory for both asymptotically flat and constant curvature geometries.
Conserved charges in AdS: A new formula
Altas, Emel; Tekin, Bayram (American Physical Society (APS), 2019-02-15)
We give a new construction of conserved charges in asymptotically anti-de Sitter spacetimes in Einstein's gravity. The new formula is explicitly gauge-invariant and makes direct use of the linearized curvature tensor instead of the metric perturbation. As an example, we compute the mass and angular momentum of the Kerr-AdS black holes.
Nature of the Omega (2012) through its strong decays
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; SARAÇ OYMAK, YASEMİN; SUNDU PAMUK, HAYRİYE (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2018-11-03)
We extend our previous analysis on the mass of the recently discovered Omega (2012) state by investigation of its strong decays and calculation of its width employing the method of light cone QCD sum rule. Considering two possibilities for the quantum numbers of Omega (2012) state, namely 1P orbital excitation with J(P) = 3/2(-) and 2S radial excitation with J(P) = 3/2(+), we obtain the strong coupling constants defining the Omega (1P/2S) -> Xi K decays. The results of the coupling constants are then used t...
