This paper aims to develop a free-access reliable and valid scale measuring perceived personal responsibility and discuss its psychometric properties. In the literature responsibility has dened in different ways. Most of the research focus on its situation-dependency, but it is possible to nd some limited research about personal responsibility. Within this context, two sets of data collected. The rst data was for factor analysis and split half reliability. Second data was to study concurrent validity. Results revealed that the scale has three constructs, namely, emotional, cognitive, and behavioral factors. Both scale and the factors have good reliability and validity values.

Psychometric Properties of a Turkish Version of the Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale
Ruganci, R. Neslihan; Gençöz, Tülin (Wiley, 2010-04-01)
This study aimed to examine the psychometric properties of the Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale (DERS; developed by Gratz & Roemer, 2004) in a Turkish sample. For this purpose, first, the factor structure of the scale was examined with a sample of 338 university students, and an identical factor structure with the original scale was obtained with the exclusion of a single item. Following the confirmation of the 6-factor structure of the scale with the current Turkish sample, the whole scale's and it...
Psychometric properties of the brief verision of the fear of negative evaluation scale in a Turkish sample
Koydemir, Selda; Demir, Ayhan Gürbüz (SAGE Publications, 2007-06-01)
The purpose of the study was to report initial data on the psychometric properties of the Brief Fear of Negative Evaluation Scale. The scale was applied to a nonclinical sample of 250 (137 women, 113 men) Turkish undergraduate students selected randomly from Middle East Technical University. Their mean age was 20.4 yr. (SD 1.9). The factor structure of the Turkish version, its criterion validity, and internal reliability coefficients were assessed. Although maximum likelihood factor analysis initially indic...
Psychometric Properties of the Antisocial Process Screening Device in a Non-Clinical Sample of Turkish Children
Eremsoy, C. Ekin; Karancı, Ayşe Nuray; Kazak Berument, Sibel (2011-05-29)
The aim of this study was to evaluate the psychometric properties of the Antisocial Process Screening Device (APSD; Frick & Hare, 2002) to be used with non-clinical Turkish samples. APSD is a 20-item scale that evaluates antisocial behaviors and the presence of psychopathic traits in children between 6-13 years of age. Study 1 was designed to check the internal consistency and test-retest and inter-rater reliabilities. Despite satisfactory test-retest and inter-rater reliability coefficients, the Cronbach a...
Computer assisted analysis of flow over spillway chutes
Kıranoğlu, Meriç; Yanmaz, A. Melih.; Department of Civil Engineering (2019)
In this study, a literature review is conducted in terms of assumptions, approaches, and various calculation methods used for the analysis of flow over conventional and stepped type spillways. In guidance of this review, a software is developed to perform such analyses with the set of given data by the user, and display results with some tables and figures. To this end, water surface profile over the spillway face is determined considering air entrainment process, pressure distribution over the crest under ...
