Determination of economic spillway design head and cost equations from regression analysis for small dams.

Determination of absolute transport efficiencies of Be, Cd, In, Pb and Bi for electrothermal vaporization sample introduction into an inductively coupled plasma using an in-line electrostatic precipitator
Ertaş, Gülay (Elsevier BV, 2003-09-26)
A novel laboratory-constructed electrostatic precipitator for the determination of analyte transport efficiencies from a tube furnace electrothermal vaporization (ETV) sample introduction system is described. This simple experimental set up captures the analyte electrostatically using a negative corona discharge. The absolute transport efficiencies using experimental conditions typical of those applied to real analysis by ETV-ICP-MS were determined for Be, Cd, In, Pb and Bi to be 26 +/- 3, 39 +/- 8, 35 +/- ...
Determination of isothermal Austenite Grain Growth model parameters for SAE 8620H Carburizing steel
Yıldız, Seçil; Yılmaz, Hasan; Yazır, Büşra; Evcil, Eilf; Şimşir, Caner; Davut, Kemal (null; 2016-12-01)
Carburizing treatments involve longer holdings at the austenite region, which can produce a range of different prior-austenite grain sizes (PAGS) depending on the growth behavior. The PAGS influences hardenability, phase transformation kinetics and hence the final phase fraction; and therefore the final mechanical properties. Since the high-temperature austenite structure is transformed during subsequent cooling steps, controlling the formation of desired austenitic structure during carburizing treatment is...
Determination of harmonic current contributions based on robust state estimation
Sezgin, Erhan; Göl, Murat; Salor, Ozgul (2018-01-01)
In this paper, a state estimation based method is proposed to determine harmonic current contributions of plants supplied from a point of common coupling (PCC). This work mainly aims to reduce gross error of capacitive voltage transformer (CVT) measurements at harmonic frequencies using robust weighted least absolute value (WLAV) state estimation method, which provides the optimum state estimates for harmonic voltages in the presence of a redundant enough measurement set. Estimated harmonic voltages are the...
Determination of current transport characteristics in Au-Cu/CuO/n-Si Schottky diodes
Surucu, O. Bayrakli; Güllü, Hasan Hüseyin; Terlemezoglu, M.; Yildiz, D. E.; Parlak, M. (Elsevier BV, 2019-10-01)
In this study, the material properties of CuO thin films fabricated by sputtering technique and electrical properties of CuO/n-Si structure were reported. Temperature-dependent current-voltage (I-V) measurement was carried out to determine the detail electrical characteristics of this structure. The anomaly in thermionic emission (TE) model related to barrier height inhomogeneity at the interface was obtained from the forward bias I-V analysis. The current transport mechanism at the junction was determined ...
