The noncommutative effects on the dipole moments of fermions in the standard model

Iltan, EO
We study the dipole moments, electric dipole moment, weak electric dipole moment, anomalous magnetic moment, anomalous weak magnetic moment, of fermions in the noncommutative extension of the SM. We observe that the noncommutative effects are among the possible candidates to explain the electric and weak electric dipole moment of fermions. Furthermore, the upper bounds for the parameters which carry space-time and space-space noncommutativity can be obtained by using the theoretical and experimental results of the fermion dipole moments.

The effects of non-universal extra dimensions on the fermion electric dipole moments in the two Higgs doublet model
Iltan, EO (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2004-04-01)
We study the the effects of non-universal extra dimensions on the electric dipole moments of fermions in the two Higgs doublet model. We observe that the t quark and b quark electric dipole moments are sensitive to the extra dimensions, however, in the case of charged lepton electric dipole moments, this sensitivity is relatively weak.
The effects of non-universal extra dimensions on the radiative lepton flavor decays mu -> e gamma and tau ->mu gamma in the two Higgs doublet model
Iltan, EO (2004-08-01)
We study the effect of non-universal extra dimensions on the branching ratios of the lepton flavor violating processes mu --> egamma and tau --> mugamma in the general two Higgs doublet model. We observe that these effects are small for a single extra dimension, however, in the case of two extra dimensions there is a considerable enhancement in the additional contributions.
The mu -> e gamma and tau ->mu gamma decays with the inclusion of Lorentz and CPT violating effects
Iltan, EO (2003-06-01)
We study the Lorentz and CPT violating effects on the branching ratio and the CP violating asymmetry of the lepton flavor violating interactions mu --> egamma and tau --> mugamma, in the model III version of the two Higgs doublet model. Here we consider that the Lorentz and CPT violating effects exist in the QED part of the interactions and enter into expressions in the lepton propagators and in the lepton-photon vertex. We observe that there exists a non-zero CP asymmetry. However, the Lorentz and CPT viol...
The effects of lepton KK modes on the electric dipole moments of the leptons in the Randall-Sundrum scenario
Iltan, E. O. (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2008-04-01)
We study the charged lepton electric dipole moments in the Randall-Sundrum model where the leptons and the gauge fields are accessible to the extra dimension. We observe that the electric dipole moment of the electron (muon; tau) reaches a value of the order of 10(-26) ecm (10(-20) ecm; 10(-20) ecm) with the inclusion of the lepton KK modes.
The effects of fourth generation on the total branching ratio and the lepton polarization in Lambda(b)->Lambda l(+) l(-) decay
Bashiry, Vali; Azizi, Kazem (2007-07-01)
This study investigates the influence of the fourth generation quarks on the total branching ratio and the single lepton polarizations in Lambda(b) -> Lambda l(+)l(-) decay. Taking vertical bar Vt ' sVt ' b vertical bar similar to {0.01-0.03} with phase just below 90 degrees, which is consistent with the b -> sl(+)l(-) rate and the B-s mixing parameter Delta(mBs), we obtain that the total branching ratio and the single lepton (mu,tau) polarizations are quite sensitive to the existence of fourth generation. ...
