A certain set of spirooxazine structures possessing an azaindoline moiety as well as a cyclophane system have been considered such that the position of aza-nitrogen varied in each structure. Also their isomeric acyclic forms are considered. The AM I (RHF) type semiempirical quantum chemical treatment on these species has been performed.

Contemplation on resemblance of molecules
Türker, Burhan Lemi (Elsevier BV, 2003-11-28)
A novel index has been defined in general sense to give an idea about resemblance of two molecules. For that purpose, property vectors defined on n-dimensional Euclidean linear space have been used. A necessary condition is derived for two molecules to have high resemblance.
The strong dimer of Ge-60, Ge-116
Türker, Burhan Lemi (Elsevier BV, 2004-03-01)
The strong dimer of Ge-60, Ge-116, is considered for MNDOd and AM1 type semiempirical quantum chemical calculations within the limitations of restricted Hartree-Fock formalism. Both methods predict this, yet non-existent, structure to be stable but highly endothermic. Some geometrical and quantum chemical data are presented.
A perturbative treatment for the bound states of the Hellmann potential
Ikhdair, Sameer M.; Sever, Ramazan (Elsevier BV, 2007-05-14)
A new approximation formalism is applied to study the bound states of the Hellmann potential, which represents the superposition of the attractive Coulomb potential -a/r and the Yukawa potential bexp(-delta r)/r of arbitrary strength h and screening parameter delta. Although the analytic expressions for the energy eigenvalues E(n,l) yield quite accurate results for a wide range of n, f in the limit of very weak screening, the results become gradually worse as the strength b and the screening coefficient 6 i...
An AM1 study on a certain cyclophane fused spirooxazine system and some of its isomers
Türker, Burhan Lemi (Elsevier BV, 2003-11-03)
A certain spirooxazine system containing azaindoline moiety as well as a cyclophane system has been considered. Also its isomeric forms, acyclic isomers, of the spirocompound have been the present concern for the AM1 (RHF) type semiempirical quantum-chemical treatment. Some geometrical and physicochemical data, thermodynamic as well as molecular orbital energetics and UV-Vis spectral characteristics have been presented.
Theoretical investigations of the equol molecule: semi-empirical and density functional theory calculations
Erkoc, F; Yilmazer, M; Erkoç, Şakir (Elsevier BV, 2005-01-14)
The structural and electronic properties of the equol molecule, an estrogenic isoflavone. have been investigated theoretically by performing semi-empirical self-consistent field molecular orbital and density functional theory calculations. The geometry of the system has been optimized at the level of AMI method and the electronic properties have been calculated at the level of B3LYP functional.
