The crystal structure of the title compound, [Cu(C6H2Cl3)(2)(NH3)(2)], has been determined by X-ray diffraction. The title monomeric centrosymmetric Cu-II complex crystallizes in the monoclinic system. The CuO2N2 coordination sphere is trans-planar [Cu-O1 = 1.946(2) and Cu-N1 = 1.984(2) Angstrom], with the fifth and sixth coordination sites blocked by Cl atoms fi om the phenoxide ions [Cu-Cl1 = 2.982(1) Angstrom] to form a tetragonally elongated octahedral structure for CuO2N2Cl2 coordination. Intermolecular hydrogen bonds hold the complex molecules together in a one-dimensional chain.

The crystal structure of [Cu(C6H2I3O)(2)(NH3)(2)] (CCDC 238896) has been determined by x-ray diffraction. This monomeric centrosymmetric Cu(II) complex crystallizes in the monoclinic system. The CuO2N2 coordination sphere is trans-planar, [Cu-O: 1.943(5) angstrom and Cu-N: 1.972(7)] with the fifth and sixth coordination sites occupied by I atoms from the phenoxide ions [Cu-I-1: 3.3552(8) angstrom] to form a tetragonally elongated octahedral structure for CuO2N2I2 Coordination. The complex molecules hold tog...

The title compound, C17H23FeNO2 (2), has been synthesized and its crystal structure has been determined from single crystal X-ray diffraction study. Crystals are monoclinic, a = 6.3541 (5), b = 10.1934 (5), c = 12.6744 (8) angstrom, beta = 92.898 (6)degrees, space group P2(1), Z = 2. The molecular geometry was also optimized using density functional theory (DFT/B3LYP) method with the 6-311G basis set in ground state. From the optimized geometry of the molecule, geometric parameters (bond lengths, bond angle...
Crystal data, photoconductivity and carrier scattering mechanisms in CuIn5S8 single crystals
Qasrawi, AF; Hasanlı, Nızamı (Wiley, 2001-01-01)
The X-ray diffraction has revealed that CuIn5S8 is a single phase crystal of cubic spinet structure. The value of the unit cell parameter for this crystal is 1.06736 nm. The crystal is assigned to the conventional space group Fd3m. The photocurrent is found to have the characteristic of monomolecular and bimolecular recombination at low and high illumination intensities, respectively. The electrical resistivity and Hall effect of CuIn5S8 crystals are measured in the temperature range of 50-400 K. The crysta...
Effect of isomorphic atom substitution on lattice parameters of TlBX2-type mixed crystals
Özkan, Hüsnü; Hasanlı, Nızamı; Çulfaz, Ali (1996-12-01)
The variation of the lattice parameters of TlBX2-type mixed crystals with composition have been investigated by X-ray diffraction technique. The lattice anisotropy (c/a) of the mixed crystals changes linearly depending on substitution of the atoms located both at the centre and at the vertices of the BX4 tetrahedra. For some of the mixed crystals studied, structural phase transition (monoclinic ⇌ tetragonal) is observed due to atom substitution when the sum of tetrahedral covalent radii of the B and X atoms...
Crystal data, electrical resistivity, and Hall mobility of n-type AgIn5S8 single crystals
Qasrawi, AF; Hasanlı, Nızamı (Wiley, 2001-01-01)
The X-ray diffraction has revealed that AgIn5S8 is a single phase crystal of cubic spinel structure. The value of the unit cell parameter for this crystal is 1.08286 nm. The electrical resistivity and Hall effect of n-type AgIn5S8 crystals are measured in the temperature range of 50-400 K. A carrier effective mass of 0.20 m(0), an acceptor to donor concentration ratio of 0.8 and an acoustic phonons deformation potential of 20 eV are identified from the Hall effect measurement. The Hall mobility data art: an...
