Anisotropy of electrical resistivity and hole mobility in InTe single crystals
Parlak, Mehmet; Günal, İbrahim; Hasanlı, Nızamı (Wiley, 1996-01-01)
The temperature dependences of the electrical resistivity and Hall mobility of p-type InTe chain single crystals in parallel and perpendicular directions to c-axis have been investigated in the temperature range of 28-260 K. The high anisotropy between rho(parallel to) and rho(perpendicular to) which depends on temperature is attributed to high concentration of stacking faults due to weak interchain bonding. The mobility parallel to c-axis was found to vary with temperature as mu proportional to T-n where n...

Anisotropy of the optical constants of GaS and GaSe near the absorption edge

Anisotropic behaviors in polycrystalline Cd-doped GaSe thin films
Colakoglu, T.; Parlak, Mehmet (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2006-12-01)
GaSe thin films were deposited by thermal evaporation technique with Cd doping. X-ray diffraction analysis showed that Cd-doped films have polycrystalline structure with the preferred orientation along ( 008) direction. Temperature dependent electrical conductivity measurements were carried out in the temperature range of 100 - 400 K along perpendicular and parallel directions to the growth direction for the films exhibiting p-type conduction determined by hot probe technique. The room temperature conductiv...
ANISOTROPIC CHANGES INDUCED BY ION IRRADIATION ON BI-BASED HIGH T(C) SUPERCONDUCTORS
HAMDAN, NM; ZIQ, KA; HALLAK, AB; OZKAN, H (1993-09-01)
(Bi,Pb)2Sr2Ca2Cu3O10 high T(c) superconducting samples were subject to irradiation by 7 MeV Si ions. X-ray diffraction analysis showed that the intensity of the (00l) peaks decrease rapidly with ion irradiation, while that of the mixed index peaks (hkl) changes very little. The a-parameter decreases first then increases with ion fluence while the c-parameter increase continuously with ion irradiation.
