Enflasyon ve İşsizlik Oranı Algısının İncelenmesi: Bir Anket Çalışması

2020-12-01

The correlates of psychological health among the Turkish unemployed: Psychological burden of financial help during unemployment
Bilgiç, Reyhan (2013-10-01)
The purpose of this study is to examine the major determinants of psychological health during unemployment. With this in mind, 438 (17% female and 83% male) unemployed individuals were contacted through Turkey's State Employment Office. It was expected that the relationship between duration of unemployment and psychological wellbeing would be nonlinear. Additionally it was hypothesized that perceived social support would moderate the relationship between length of unemployment and psychological health. Furt...

Şengül, Zeki Oğulcan; Parmaksız, Ömer Kağan; Cömert, Hasan; Department of Economics (2020-10)
This study aims to examine the drivers of inflation for selected developing countries to compare the relative roles of internal and external factors. The study covers the period from 1995 to 2019, using PVAR and VAR Models. In this study, we want to test the hypothesis that the drivers of inflation have changed after the globalization. According to our results, as the world economy globalized, the inflation dynamics changed in favor of the external drivers. The exchange rate is the common driver of in...
A relational perspective of institutional work
Topal, Çağrı (Cambridge University Press (CUP), 2015-07-01)
This study develops a relational model of institutional work. The past research implies that the nature of relationships between individual actors actually shapes the nature of institutional work the actors engage in. However, the research falls short of an explicit, systematic analysis of different relationships between the actors and their work implications. This study basically argues that the actors' power positions, which might be dominant or subordinate in relation to those of other actors, and their ...
Macroeconomic and institutional determinants of current account deficits
Ozmen, E (Informa UK Limited, 2005-07-15)
This study empirically investigates the effects of institutional and macroeconomic policy variables on current account deficits (CAD). Based on cross-section data for a broad number of countries, the results suggest that better governance increases whilst 'original sin' decreases the ability of an economy to sustain CAD. Exchange rate flexibility and openness appear to put a discipline on CAD. Consistent with the equity home bias and Feldstein-Horioka puzzle, CAD decrease with country size. The net impacts ...
Charitable giving under inequality aversion
Derin Güre, Pınar (2010-05-01)
We use General Social Survey data to test our theory's prediction that voluntary giving increases with inequality aversion for high income individuals, and that the opposite is true for low income individuals. We find strong support for our theoretical predictions. Published by Elsevier B.V.
