Bu çalışmada, karşıtlık karesi bağlamında modal-epistemik ilkeler ve savlar arasındaki mantıksal ilişkiler incelenecektir. Karşıtlık Karesi, tanımlı dört Aristoteles niceleme biçimleri arasındaki belirli mantıksal ilişkileri ifade eden bir yapıdır. İlk olarak, geleneksel karşıtlık karesinin yapısını kısaca tanıtacağız. Karşıtlık Karesi Aristoteles’in kategoriler mantığında karşıtlık, altkarşıtlık, altıklık ve çelişki yasalarını ifade eder. Bu ilişkileri tanımladıktan sonra karşıtlık karesini kuracağız. Bu çalışmada sadece karşıtlık karesini değil, modal-epistemik bağlamlardaki nicelenmiş biçimler üzerine uygulamalarını da ele alacağız. Böylelikle karşıtlık karesinin kapsamını yüklemler mantığının olanaklılık ve zorunluluk özelliklerini kapsayacak biçimde modal mantık dizgesi üzerine genişleteceğiz. Ardından, epistemolojinin ya da bilgi teorisindeki önermelerin mantıksal biçimini de kapsayacak biçimde, yeni özel yüklemler ve bağıntılar aracılığıyla, karşıtlık karesi uygulamasını epistemik mantığa genişleteceğiz. Bu karşıtlık karesi biçimselliği içinde dört epistemik ilke ve sav yer almaktadır. Bu karşıtlık karesi içinde yer alan ilkeler ve savlar şunlardır: Bilinebilirlik İlkesi, Bilinemezlik İlkesi, Bilinmeyen Doğruların Varlığı Savı, Kadir-i Mutlaklık Savı. Bu ilkeler ve savlar arasındaki mantıksal ilişkiler açıklandıktan sonra Modal-Epistemik Karşıtlık Karesi’ni kuracağız. Son bölümde, Modal- Epistemik Karşıtlık Karesi’nin önemli bir uygulaması olarak epistemik ve ontolojik çerçevede realist ve anti-realist görüşlere ait savlar arasındaki mantıksal bir sorunun çözümlemesine değineceğiz.
