Bu makale Uzak Doğu'daki hegemonik liderlik mücadelesi çerçevesinde Tayvan'ın konumunu incelemektedir. Tayvan bir taraftan tam bağımsız bir statüye kavuşmak isterken diğer yandan Çin, ABD gibi Uzak Doğu'da hegemonik liderlik mücadelesi arasında sıkışmış bir ülkedir. Makale Tayvan'ın bu komununun bir değerlendirmesini sunmaktadır.
