Galois structure of modular forms of even weight
Gurel, E. (Elsevier BV, 2009-10-01)
We calculate the equivariant Euler characteristics of powers of the canonical sheaf on certain modular curves over Z which have a tame action of a finite abelian group. As a consequence, we obtain information on the Galois module structure of modular forms of even weight having Fourier coefficients in certain ideals of rings of cyclotomic algebraic integers. Hyperbolic metamaterials and massive Klein-Gordon equation in (2+1)-dimensional de Sitter spacetime
Tekin, Bayram (2021-11-01)
The wave equation obeyed by the extraordinary component of the electric field in a hyperbolic metamaterial was shown to be a massless Klein-Gordon field living in a flat spacetime with two timelike and two spacelike dimensions. Such a wave equation, unexpectedly, allows dispersionless propagation albeit having two spatial dimensions. Here we show that the same equation can be naturally interpreted as a particular massive Klein-Gordon equation with the usual one timelike and two spacelike dimensions in a de ...
Pseudospin and spin symmetry in Dirac-Morse problem with a tensor potential
AYDOĞDU, OKTAY; Sever, Ramazan (Elsevier BV, 2011-09-14)
Under the conditions of the pseudospin and spin symmetry, approximate analytical solutions of the Dirac-Morse problem with Coulomb-like tensor potential are presented. The energy eigenvalue equations are found and corresponding radial wave functions are obtained in terms of confluent hypergeometric functions. The energy eigenvalues are calculated numerically in the absence and presence of the tensor potential. We also investigate the contribution of the potential parameters to the energy splitting of the ps...
Quasilinear differential equations with strongly unpredictable solutions
Akhmet, Marat; Zhamanshin, Akylbek (2020-01-01)
The authors discuss the existence and uniqueness of asymptotically stable unpredictable solutions for some quasilinear differential equations. Two principal novelties are in the basis of this research. The first one is that all coordinates of the solution are unpredictable functions. That is, solutions are strongly unpredictable. Secondly, perturbations are strongly unpredictable functions in the time variable. Examples with numerical simulations are presented to illustrate the theoretical results.
