Catalytic conversion of methane to methanol on Cu-SSZ-13 using N2O as oxidant
İpek Torun, Bahar (2016-01-01)
Direct catalytic methanol production from methane is achieved on Cu-SSZ-13 zeolite catalysts using N2O as the oxidant. The methanol production rate on Cu-SSZ-13 (on a per gram basis) was more than twice the rate on Cu-mordenite and more than four times the rate on Cu-ZSM-5.

Catalytic oxidation of nitrogen containing compounds for nitrogen determination
Karakaş, Gürkan (2019-02-15)
The high temperature catalytic oxidation (HTCO) performance of Al2O3 supported Pt, Cu, Cu-Ce and Fe catalysts were systematically studied with a perspective of selective oxidation of nitrogenous compounds to nitric oxide for quantitative determination of bound nitrogen. The catalyst samples were prepared via impregnation and characterized by XRD and BET. In addition, temperature programmed reaction experiments with acetonitrile and oxygen were conducted to evaluate the catalytic activity and selectivity tow...
Catalytic degradation of polypropylene over alumina loaded mesoporous catalysts
Obali, Zeynep; Sezgi, Naime Aslı; Doğu, Timur (2012-10-01)
The catalytic thermal degradation of polypropylene over aluminum containing ordered mesoporous MCM-41 and SBA-15 based materials was studied in a semi-batch reactor. Heavier molecules degraded to lighter hydrocarbons in the presence of catalysts and they gave high ethylene selectivity among the gaseous products. Additionally, butane selectivity increased with the use of catalysts. SBA-type catalysts showed higher selectivity to lighter hydrocarbons (<C-14). C-7 selectivity among the liquid products was high...
