Havacılık Nöroergonomisinde Optik Beyin Görüntüleme Uygulamaları

2021-06-01

Real-Time Monitoring of Cognitive Workload of Airline Pilots in a Flight Simulator with fNIR Optical Brain Imaging Technology
Çakır, Murat Perit; Koc, Suleyman Ozgur; Toktas, Ahmet (2016-07-22)
Real-time monitoring of the flight crew's health status with ambient and body sensors have become an important concern to improve the safety and the efficiency of flight operations. In this paper we report our preliminary findings on a functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIR) based online algorithm developed for real-time monitoring of mental workload of an airline pilot. We developed a linear discriminant analysis (LDA) based classifier that aims to predict low, moderate and high mental workload states...

Design of an autonomous landing control algorithm for a fixed wing UAV
Kargın, Volkan; Yavrucuk, İlkay; Department of Aerospace Engineering (2007)
This thesis concerns with the design and development of automatic flight controller strategies for the autonomous landing of fixed wing unmanned aircraft subject to severe environmental conditions. The Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (TUAV) designed at the Middle East Technical University (METU) is used as the subject platform. In the first part of this thesis, a dynamic model of the TUAV is developed in FORTRAN environment. The dynamic model is used to establish the stability characteristics of the TUAV. ...
Application of Beacon Navigation and Angle-Only Artillery Surveying Methods for INS Aiding on Aerial Platforms in GNSS Denied Environments
Guner, D. R. Levent; Özgören, Mustafa Kemal; Platin, Bülent Emre (2013-04-25)
In this work, an alternative navigation scheme for improving the performance of inertial navigation systems onboard guided munitions, missiles and unmanned platforms is investigated, to be used in case of a theater or country-wide GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) jamming scenario. Previously laid ground based beacon network is used by the aerial platform's EO/IIR (Electrooptic/ imaging infrared) seeker for bearing-only measurements and position updates are performed by the use of modified artillery...
Experimental Evaluation of Panel-Method-Based Path Planning for eVTOL in A Scaled Urban Environment
Ünal, Zeynep; Bronz, Murat; Yavrucuk, İlkay (2022-01-01)
In this study, previously proposed panel method based path planning for electric vertical take off and landing vehicles in urban environments is tested in a high fidelity simulation environment and with real-life drones in an indoor flight arena. Panel method is a numerical tool, borrowed form fluid dynamics domain, that can generate collision free paths for multiple vehicles in environments with arbitrarily shaped obstacles while guaranteeing obstacle avoidance and convergence to global minima with little ...
