Bu yazı Martin Heidegger’in yaşamı düşünme çizgisinin izini sürmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bu bağlamda yazıda ilkin, Heidegger’in erken düşüncesinde ‘yaşam’ ile ‘dünya’ ilişkisi sorgulanmaktadır. İkinci olarak Heidegger’in 1929-30 Freiburg Üniversitesinde verdiği derslerde (Metafiziğin Temel Kavramları) yaşam meselesinin tekrar ortaya çıkışının anlamı incelenmektedir. Bu derslerde Heidegger insan ve hayvanın varlık tarzlarının farkına ilişkin düşünür. Bu fark, hayvanın varlığını ‘yaşam’, insanın varlığını ise Dasein olarak açık kılar. Son olarak Heidegger’in, Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel’in Tinin Fenomenolojisi’ni yaşam meselesi ekseninde okuması incelenmektedir. Bu bağlamda Heidegger’in 1930/31 derslerinde (Hegel’in Tinin Fenomenolojisi), Hegel’in yaşam kavramına dair yorumunu sonsuzluk, zaman ve tarihsel-olma meselelerini açması bakımından ele alıyorum. Burada amacım yaşamın, Hegel ve Heidegger’de farklı zeminlerde düşünülmüş olduğunu gösterebilmek. Bu amaç dâhilinde aralarındaki farkın, Heidegger’in yaşamı sonluluk, Hegel’in ise sonsuzluk zemininde düşünebilmesinde yattığını iddia ediyorum. Bu fark aynı zamanda her bir düşünürdeki yaşam ve felsefe ilişkisine işaret etmektedir. Hem Heidegger hem de Hegel yaşamın ve felsefenin hakiki varlığını praxis olarak görse de Heidegger yaşama dair sonlu bir kavrayışa müsaade ederken, Hegel için felsefi düşünme, yaşamın öz-gelişiminin nihai ereğidir (telos).
