ERY has revealed record-high aquatic concentrations threatening the entire ecosystem and hence demands priority remedial measures. The inefficiency of various conventional ERY degradation methodologies opened up a gateway to advanced technologies. The conventional approach comprising of a chemically formulated, single photocatalyst has a major drawback of creating multiple environmental stresses. In this context, photocatalysis is grabbing tremendous attention as an efficient and cost-effective antibiotic treatment approach. Several studies have ascertained that ZnO, TiO2, Fe3O4, and rGO nanoparticles possess remarkable pollution minimizing operational capabilities. Additionally, composites are found much more effective in antibiotic removal than single nanoparticles. In this review, an attempt has been made to provide a comprehensive baseline for efficient reactive radical production by a phyto-mediated composite kept under a certain source of irradiation. Considerable efforts have been directed towards the in-depth investigation of rGO-embedded, phyto-mediated ZnO/TiO2/Fe3O4 photocatalyst fabrication for efficient ERY degradation, undergoing green photocatalysis. This detailed review provides photocatalytic nanocomposite individualities along with a hypothetical ERY degradation mechanism. It is assumed that derived information presented here will provoke innovative ideas for water purification incorporating green photocatalysis, initiating the construction of high-performance biogenic hierarchical nanocatalysts.

Cultural values, national personality characteristics, and intelligence as correlates of corruption: A nation level analysis
Gaygısız Lajunen, Esma; Lajunen, Timo (2022-05-01)
© 2022 The Author(s)Research on national corruption has primarily focused on economics and politics, whereas cultural factors and especially national personality characteristics have attracted less attention. In the present study, the influence of Hofstede's cultural dimensions, Schwartz's values, Eysenckian personality factors (EPQ), and national intelligent quotient (IQ) on Corruption Perception Index (CPI) scores were studied by using aggregated data from 64 countries and ecological design, i.e., correla...
Linear and nonlinear optical characteristics of PbMoO4 single crystal for optoelectronic applications

Raman measurement was performed in the range of 50–1000 cm−1 and 11 active vibration modes were defined in the spectrum. The nature of the observed modes was discussed in detail. Optical absorption of the material was investigated utilizing room temperatu...
Valorization of Apple Pomace Via Single Cell Oil Production Using Oleaginous Yeast Rhodosporidium toruloides

© 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature B.V.Apple pomace was used as a sole raw material for single cell oil (SCO) production by the oleaginous yeast Rhodosporidium toruloides DSM 4444. Preliminary studies with glucose medium revealed 100 mL of working volume in 500 mL Erlenmeyer flask as the most efficient in terms of lipid content. Thus, apple pomace hydrolysate was tested in six different conditions using 100 mL medium. The detoxified hydrolysate without chemical supplement (D m...

While numerous in silico models have been developed that can accurately describe nanoparticle interactions with the bioenvironment within prescribed length and time scales, predictive design of these d...
Tensionless strings and Killing(-Yano) tensors

© 2022 The Author(s)We construct invariants for bosonic and spinning tensionless (null) strings in backgrounds that carry Killing tensors or Killing-Yano tensors of mixed type. This is facilitated by the close relation of these strings to point particles. We apply the construction to the Minkowski and to the Kerr-Newman backgrounds.
