Facile fabrication of Au-Ag alloy nanoparticles on filter paper: Application in SERS based swab detection and multiplexing
Khan, Ghazanfar Ali; Demirtaş, O. Özge; Bek, Alpan; Bhatti, Arshad Saleem; Ahmed, Waqqar (2022-05-01)
© 2022 Elsevier B.V.Facile fabrication of flexible substrates containing high concentration of nanoparticles (NPs) is very promising owing to their capability of swab-based surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) trace detection. However, the background signal of the substrate could compromise the trace-detection capabilities. Moreover, the presence of fluorescent molecules may result in intense fluorescence background which could overshadow the Raman peaks. Herein, we demonstrate that the surfactant-free ...
Facile realization of efficient blocking from ZnO/TiO2 mismatch interface in dye-sensitized solar cells and precise microscopic modeling adapted by circuit analysis
Ameri, Mohsen; Samavat, Feridoun; Mohajerani, Ezeddin; Fathollahi, Mohammad-Reza (2016-06-01)
In the present research, the effect of ZnO-based blocking layers on the operational features of TiO2-based dye-sensitized solar cells is investigated. A facile solution-based coating method is applied to prepare an interfacial highly transparent ZnO compact blocking layer (CBL) to enhance the efficiency of dye-sensitized solar cells. Different precursor molar concentration were tested to find the optimum concentration. Optical and electrical measurements were carried out to confirm the operation of the CBLs...

Facile Synthesis of Three-Dimensional Pt-TiO2 Nano-networks: A Highly Active Catalyst for the Hydrolytic Dehydrogenation of Ammonia-Borane
Khalily, Mohammad Aref; Eren, Hamit; Akbayrak, Serdar; Susapto, Hepi Hari; BIYIKLI, NECMİ; Özkar, Saim; GÜLER, Mustafa Özgür (2016-09-26)
Three-dimensional (3D) porous metal and metal oxide nanostructures have received considerable interest because organization of inorganic materials into 3D nanomaterials holds extraordinary properties such as low density, high porosity, and high surface area. Supramolecular self-assembled peptide nanostructures were exploited as an organic template for catalytic 3D Pt-TiO2 nano-network fabrication. A 3D peptide nanofiber aerogel was conformally coated with TiO2 by atomic layer deposition (ALD) with angstrom-...
Facile synthesis of CsPbBr3/PbSe composite clusters
Thang Phan Nguyen, Thang Phan Nguyen; Öztürk, Abdullah; PARK, JONGEE; Sohn, Woonbae; Tae Hyung Lee, Tae Hyung Lee; Jang, Ho Won; Kim, Soo Young (Informa UK Limited, 2018-12-18)
In this work, CsPbBr3 and PbSe nanocomposites were synthesized to protect perovskite material from self-enlargement during reaction. UV absorption and photoluminescence (PL) spectra indicate that the addition of Se into CsPbBr3 quantum dots modified the electronic structure of CsPbBr3, increasing the band gap from 2.38 to 2.48 eV as the Cs:Se ratio increased to 1:3. Thus, the emission color of CsPbBr3 perovskite quantum dots was modified from green to blue by increasing the Se ratio in composites. According...
