Networked Business Model Canvas is a generative tool developed for exploring alternative open design-led business models in distributed value creation settings. This tool will be utilised throughout work package 5 as part of the co-creation workshops to explore alternative businesses, and it can be utilised by anyone interested in exploring alternative value creation practices in distributed value creation settings.

Open design-led business model explorations in distributed value creation networks (Deliverable 5.2)
Bakırlıoğlu, Yekta (DF-MOD Project 120C213 – TÜBİTAK-H2020 MSCA-CoFund, 2022-12-31)
This deliverable presents the outcomes of DF-MOD workshop sessions aiming to explore alternative, demand-driven, open design-led business models for distributed production and local circular economies, facilitated through mass-produced open design parts and the active involvement of value-creation-for-self (i.e., responsible consumers, active users, prosumers/makers/DIY-ers) and value-creation-for-others (i.e., local, regional, and global/mass producers) stakeholders in their design, production and post-use...
Reconceptualising stakeholders for the management of distributed value creation networks through open design-led businesses
Bakırlıoğlu, Yekta; Hasdoğan, Gülay Fatma (2022-07-20)
Openly shared design knowledge and open-to-participate design processes present potential for democratising innovation through diffuse value creation networks that can diverge into different directions and design outcomes. This potential mostly concretises through the distributed production paradigm that localises production, closes material loops and empowers communities to meet their specific needs. This paper argues that there is a need for formalising truly alternative ways of doing open design-led busi...

CLOUDGEN: Workload generation for the evaluation of cloud computing systems CLOUDGEN: Bulut Bilişim Sistemlerinin Başarim Deǧerlendirmesi icin Iş Yuku Uretimi
Koltuk, Furkan; Yazar, Alper; Schmidt, Şenan Ece (2019-04-01)
In this paper, we propose CLOUDGEN workflow that produces synthetic workloads for Infrastructure and Platform as a Service for the evaluation of resource management approaches in cloud computing systems. To this end, CLOUDGEN systematically processes and clusters records in a given workload trace and fits distributions for different workload parameters within the clusters. Different than the previous work, clustering is carried out to produce different virtual machine types for achieving models that are sui...
Tool support for transformation from an OWL ontology to an HLA Object Model
ÖZDİKİŞ, Özer; DURAK, Umut; Oğuztüzün, Mehmet Halit S. (2010-03-15)
Designing simulation architectures based on domain models is a promising approach. Tools to support transformation of formalized domain models to design models are essential. Ontology languages offer a way of formally specifying the domain knowledge. We adopt a user-guided approach to model transformation, where the source is an OWL ontology and the target is an HLA Object Model, in particular, a federation object model (FOM). This paper presents a flexible transformation tool that enables the user to defin...
